"Hi, are you looking for a copywriter?" I am using it to directly send - both contacts and random people. (My strategy is to follow someone who follows more people than they have followers, so they give me a follow, and then message them)

    HOT! EXECUTION
Still no orders from messaging people on Instagram. But I have one video call possibly tomorrow. I have also made an arrangement where I get 20% from getting gigs for one person. I have a test task that if I complete can get me a long term client.

    Rising Strong: The Origin Story

    HOT! EXECUTION
Hello, I've been a part time freelancer for many years. This is going to be my log. I am in a psychward and have access only to my phone, not my notebook. So to start and get some capital I am trying to become a pro copywriter. So far I've been sharing IG posts and messaging people whether...

[Progress/accountability thread] Digital product - web app (supported by freelancing and part time jobs in the meantime)

    EXECUTION
Main job: web dev, small company - has the typical downsides of working in a small web dev company, badly chosen tasks by management etc. But hey, I just do my 8 hours and then I am out. So it is ok. Will see how it develops - how they adjust to choosing tasks based on technical difficulty etc...

[Progress/accountability thread] Digital product - web app (supported by freelancing and part time jobs in the meantime)

    EXECUTION
Got a web dev full time position. (test task -> contract work "full time" after I complete it -> actual full time after a month) Might receive more offers (one of them would be very highly paid if it worked out - German company) because I did well in other interviews. Will be finally able to...

    IDEA SIDE HUSTLE FEEDBACK
Have you tested that these conversation starters work? If you demonstrated that it works and created a freemium revenue model it could work.

Update: Freelancing: got a new client (web modifications + long term maintaince/error solving, doing a paid test article (3 pages) for a freelancing client (much better paid than the last one! - even writing 4 pages a day would be enough to make a living), my main copywriting client will be...

What is the best way to hire a (good) software developer?

    SOURCING SAAS / APPS

    EXECUTION
Hi. Yes, I am from Czech Republic. The salary thing is very interesting - many people commute to Germany or Switzerland everyday for a few hours and can make 3x our average salary just by working in McDonalds. It is a goldmine for remote workers. There is a lot of paperwork associated with that...

[Progress/accountability thread] Digital product - web app (supported by freelancing and part time jobs in the meantime)

    EXECUTION
I am making this thread to hold myself accountable and so that other users can see what I am doing. And to get suggestions. Documenting what works and what doesn´t. Currently I am developing a digital product with React, Node.js and MongoDB. I already know enough PHP and JS. Still gotta learn...

Reading The ENTIRE MJ's Recommended 101 Book List

    MINDSET
    1) plan out for the next day, starting with the task that you DISLIKE THE MOST and the one you dislike the second most etc 2) follow the plan to the letter, no deviations (of course, if something takes longer - adjust - that should be obvious) 3) when completed, read as much as you want, as many...
