One plus side of being a corporate rat, I get to fly private planes and don't have to pay for them . The one behind me alone was 12 mil. Euro (Swiss made Pilatus with enough legroom for 6,3 ft me ). The corpo I slave for has got a few more similar planes and the airport is just outside my...

    HOT! CHAT
I personally like that recent style of "I'll throw something together in canva, no need to pay a designer" way of approaching visual communication. Makes it super easy to distinguish amateurs from pros. Myself I stopped doing visual communication for clients years ago, since I realized it's...

You guys know that huge rock? Yes that one, travelling about 1.6 million miles (2.6 million km) a day, or 66,627 mph (107,226 km/h). I've just yesterday finished putting 200 hornbeam trees into it. Thought I ought to let you know, since we are all sitting on it :)

    Industrial Businesses Megathread

    IDEA CHAT EXECUTION
That. At the moment I'm finished with safety tests. I let the solution run in a central heating of a 1 family house for a year. No issues whatsoever. It only needs to be applied for max 3 days, then drained and replaced by original fluid, but I wanted to be sure it causes no damage to steel...

    HOT! MINDSET
In most cases depression is translated as a lack of sense of purpose. I suggest you start with sorting that out. Spending your life comfortably numb? Meh. Hedonistic happiness? Good for a while. Status? Yeah, good for getting them chicks, 'cause that's what they want. Eudaimonistic happiness...

    Start-up launch - E-bike rental for enterprises

    IDEA MARKETING EXECUTION
@ 2 targeting I'd say maybe go and talk to some car repair shops and offer them your rental service. The profit for car shop: their customers can drop their vehicle for repairs and commute back home using the bike, and then pick up the car using same bike which will make customers more likely...

    Selling Businesses

    QUESTION
The greater predictability of the future stream of earnings and sustainability the greater value of the enterprise. So the problem I see wirh your reasoning: you want to pop up them businesses, grow them, and sell quick. But how will you provide the track record of profitability unless you are...

Rate This Idea: Smart Wildfire Suppression System

    IDEA
As far as I'm concerned for example in Australia the forestry service people were preventing spreas of wildfires by cutting down trees and busches creating passages to stop the fire spreading. Then the green eco friends came and made them stop doing that, so the next years we saw crazy wildfires...

Reading The ENTIRE MJ's Recommended 101 Book List

    MINDSET
Well.. I've been there, read over 100 books/year for a while (during Covid mostly) and here's what I think: spend 100 days figuring out that 1 book worth reading for you (depending on what your actual situation is, and where are you aiming), the rest of the year read that book 100 times over...

Crushing the 2023/life health/fitness/activities bucket list

    HEALTH
I love sailing and diving, but I only do freediving. Try not to lower than 20 meters as then it could get dangerous. Things that diving taught me: - if you just relax, you can dive way longer than ever imagined, - instead of thinking "Im certainly gonna drown if I don't resurface rihgt now" I...

    INVESTING
Hi @Mauro89 I wouldn't call it necessarily investing, rather gambling (as no controll) or a place for holding my money until I find a better job for it, but I follow general Warren Buffet's advice of buying stocks. My own spin to this is: I read John Maxwell book "The-5-Levels-of-Leadership"...

    Dead-End Sh*t Jobs ... Yours?

    NOTABLE!
I did a lot of those, as I finished all my schools (mind you one of them the best private university in the country) there was a recession in Poland with unemployment rates up to 20% so manual labor for minimum wage it was :) There's no point listing all of them, just 2 worst that come to my...

    MINDSET SOCIAL MEDIA
This forum is great and all, but oh boy so much let's call it opinions here and there. I take a lot of caution who do I take my advice from. This is certainly a sales pitch cut to match this community. So let me counter this with a bit more scientific opinion on that matter: Sabine Hossenfelder
