How are you guys beating the social media addiction?

    HOT! MINDSET
This also helps on my end. Way back 2024 I deleted all of my social media except Facebook and LinkedIn. I still use Facebook for personal connections, and LinkedIn for professional connections. My phone doesn't have any social media apps.

Dead People: The Good Folks Who Have Left Us...

    OFF-TOPIC CHAT
A friend of mine just committed suicide earlier this morning. Some are saying that it's mainly because of his ex girlfriend dumping her. I feel saddened by it because the guy's full of ambition, but being dumped by his partner caused him to end his life.

Sh*t. Freaking game changer. I used to avoid software system ideas because I don't know how to fully code and learning it will take years. Finding someone that is a great programmer that is business inclined here in PH is tough to find. But with Antigravity, I don't even need to learn how to...

    HOT! BOOKS
I just read the book preview. This book is freaking great. Better timing release based on my situation right now. I'm struggling with porn, youtube, and procrastination. I overcame vices (Alcohol, Smoking, Caffeine) with the same strategy (Habit counting, Habit stack, etc.). But been doing...

Year End Thought Exercise: 10 Questions to Ask about This Year

What was your biggest triumph? Was there several or none? Why? Continued abstinence from Alcohol and Caffeine since 2024 (Almost 2 years!) 2024 - Ended a miserable relationship, Post 2024 to Present - Found a great partner that aligns with my values and what I'm looking for a partner. The Law Of Attraction Is Complete Bullshit. Here's What I Learned After Practicing It for 4 Years, Reading Over 50+ Books

    MINDSET
I remember chatting with a group of friends in the past. One of my past friend saying "The universe is so kind to me. Last week I found an iPhone on a bench. It was great timing since my phone's screen is already jammed" I just smiled but in my mind "No you dumbass, someone forgot their...

Dead People: The Good Folks Who Have Left Us...

    OFF-TOPIC CHAT
Reminded me of this news from PH. Father is a well known television weather anchor & celebrity in the Philippines, while mother is an entrepreneur. Clearly have no problem with money since they are very well off. The girl was struggling with mental health issues and undergone multiple therapies...

I have 10 years of experience as a dev and lately I have been attacked by unhealthy, negative thoughts related to work and I cannot enjoy life.

    MINDSET
Embrace that life is unfair and there are people that always going to be ahead of you. You're ahead of me. I live in a very corrupt country (Shout out billion peso flood control ghost projects), you live in a good economy. Should I become jealous of your situation? Gratitude can help here and...

Starting a business in the Spreadsheet Space

    EXECUTION
Can't be. Editing and creating practice files, visuals is time consuming as hell plus the editing. I've shifted my mind to make sure all assets are "Good enough" and not aim for perfection to speed things up. So far I stopped producing content to prioritize my time on finishing the course.
