    Alcohol drinking habits

    HOT! MINDSET
I have found a similar thing with my friends. I'm really not keen on going to the same pub for the 5000th time, especially now that I don't drink anymore. But if I organise something like Golf, or indoor rock climbing, or am proactive with bringing something like that to the table, they're...

    Observations From Around the Globe

    OFF-TOPIC
I spent a few days in Warsaw and Krakow and when having dinner in something like a town square, it legitimately looked like a movie set. On another European note, I only spent 2 days in Vienna but it seemed like some strange kind of utopia. We were clearly backpackers but a very wealthy looking...

Top 100 paid athletes of 2024 came out a few days ago. I thought the percentage of endorsements would have been much higher. Skewed a bit by the bottom 50 though I suppose. Endorsements for boxing is pretty low in comparison and no MMA fighter in the top 100. Highest-Paid Athletes in the...

I loved Germany. I had a German girlfriend for a year and she arranged a trip to Oktoberfest in Munich in 2014 or 15 where the deal was I'd bring 4 guys from Australia and she would bring 4 of her girlfriends from Germany. She somehow booked a table for 10, every day for 5 days, in a different...

My girlfriend is Indonesian and they cook everything here in horrid, cheap vegetable oil. It's a bit of a challenge to educate her on how bad it is without coming across as condescending.

They really need to start teaching kids in school how to do their own tax return. How tax brackets work. All the basic stuff. How on earth is that not even a subject on its own. I know that it's not taught in Australia (although they did get us all to apply for a tax file number in school when...

I hate smoking. I quit many years ago when I became more health conscious (nothing to do with the price) and know some people in my family that will probably meet their end from it, but I still don't believe Government intervention through tax and over reaching law or bans is the answer. I had...

It sounds more like a cultural trend to me really. There's a lot of things I dislike about Australia right now, but I'm grateful we have easy access to a lot of healthy food. We have so many small healthy organic outlets here. (As you're on the SC you should check out Kunara and the organic...

Starting (and Fastlaning) a lawn care service business

What's your cancellation fee if you don't mind? In commercial cleaning we would sign them to a 12 month agreement but if they wanted to cancel the fee was 2 months service charge.
