Income Store Shut down by SEC, How to Whistleblow Scams

    NOTABLE! INVESTING
I have a high yield checking account, which guarantees me 2.5%. They do carefully word the offer though that they can change those terms anytime depending on their return. Also, banks are different than a business that offers alternative investments. I'm in over my head. I don't have a...

True. This is something that Northwestern Mutual does all the time right? Banks too.

This is so stupid. If you have the talent available to set up Shopify sites that convert, why the hell don't you just launch them, grow them, and then sell them off to these investors as a cash flow producing asset? And at the same time run a service-based agency that does this sort of thing for...

From what I can decipher from the hysteria, this is basically a strong flu virus that results in pneumonia if you are old or already suffering from a condition. If you are one of these people, you could have a 10% chance of dying if you get it.

Chobani is a great example of what you are talking about. For years Dannon and Yoplait had the yogurt category locked up. Who thought you could reinvent yogurt? That's inspiration!

Totally agree. Quick story about old Adobe (customer focused) I have a copy of Adobe CS3 on an old G5 mac that has no wireless card, so it exists in a time vacuum. I can't tell you how joyful that software is to use, and it's over 10 years old. Everything boots up in less than 7 seconds. No...

I've used their software since 1998 and right now their software has never been worse. I am constantly interrupted by prompts to join their ridiculous typekit service, or upload my design library on their cloud service (which of course you have to pay for) and waste my time playing hide and seek...

I was just thinking about the opportunity to develop software to control old Sonos devices this morning. Too bad I don't code.

I learned that Adobe may be considering dropping the price of their monthly subscriptions due to the rising popularity of Affinity, which is a one-time purchase of $50 per title. They are filling the gap and people seem to be happy with their software from what I can tell.

Sonos customer here. I was also an evangelist. Great sound, excellent user interface. You could tell they spent a lot of money on design. Now they went all Adobe on us. What's next, I have to pay a monthly subscription to their cloud software service? Too bad, I love my system. Better dust...
