The lifestyle, hobbies, and fun thread.

    HOT! CHAT
Saw people here mentioning pickleball and decided to give it a try for the first time this weekend. Seems fun and it's been a while since I tried something new.

    What next to do

    INTRO
Yes, of course, you can. I just suggest you decide soon enough in which direction you want to go and focus on that. Keep learning and good luck!

    WordPress or Shopify

    MARKETING
My former colleague started an eCommerce business and is using Shopify. He had some minor issues here and there, but overall he's happy with it. A good marketing strategy, though, is what makes all the difference. Going toward personalized recommendations or cross channel marketing gives...

How did you build your website with minimal cost?

    EXECUTION QUESTION
+1 for Wordpress and BeTheme, definitely worth considering.

How do I get them to trust me!!

    MARKETING
It's a pity not to consider a website, but I believe you know better what would work in your country. Online presence in any form (a website being the best option) is pretty much a must nowadays. As for the cost, some platforms offer a free plan that would be more than enough, at least at the...

What Are You Grateful For Today?

    HOT! MINDSET CHAT
Good health and my family. And the fact I accidentally discovered a small bakery yesterday with the best bread ever.

Is anyone using electronic business cards?

    MARKETING
I haven't fully switched, instead, I printed my card code on the physical card. For now, I'm sharing both. Chances are some of my info will need updating soon, so that's when I'll stop giving away the paper cards. This is one of the biggest advantages of digital cards, in my opinion - you can...

I believe in dragons, aliens and billions of dollars

    INTRO
Love the humorous thread title that actually sounds sort of philosophical after reading the post. Welcome to the forum and all the best with your project!

How I gained 7 pounds in 20 days!

    HEALTH
Many (if not most) people I've met over the years don't realize that it's not easy to gain weight, that it's at least as difficult as losing weight. Since I am fully aware of this, being at the "want to gain weight" end, I want to say how glad I am you made such progress and wish you to keep it up!

Would you start a business before you have the necessary money to have everything you need

    SIDE HUSTLE EXECUTION
I've seen the word "daunting" more times in the last few months than during my entire lifetime. I think I'm becoming allergic to it.

    Made a website.. now what?

    MARKETING
If you took care of the essentials - the design, high-quality content, SEO optimization, there's no reason not to get your website out there. This is how you'll get traffic and start engaging with your target audience. Ask for feedback or suggestions on the topics they want you to cover...

Confused between following my dreams and risk it all and a stable life

You are facing a difficult decision at a very young age, and I have to say that you are handling it very well and maturely. You didn't have it easy, but you are on the right track now. Writing down all the positive and negative things about both options is a great start. Sometimes all it takes...

How do you stop self sabotaging for good?

    HOT! MINDSET
That's it. It is amazing how powerful the human brain is and it doesn't always use these "powers" for good. These universal patterns (like self-sabotage) lots of us have to fight come from deep unconscious levels and that's exactly why it's so difficult to change them. The first step though is...

Nearly 50. Still learning. Persistently self-sabotaging.

    INTRO
I believe many people can relate to your experience (me included, in many aspects), and I have to say you know how to put it into words. I like your writing style. Out of all the good advice and amazing comments here, I want to emphasize the new experiences - places, friends, communities. You...

Started my first real ecommerce business, posting the process and asking for tips here.

    EXECUTION QUESTION
For your niche, I think it's a good idea to team up with an influencer, so thumbs up for that. You could also do another check on your target audience. I think the high prices you mentioned make it a bit smaller and more specific than a large group that uses skin products. Along with this, you...

ChatGPT - Am I missing something here

    IDEA
I like how you put it. At first, I was wondering the same thing. Mostly because it's really easy to spot the content written by ChatGPT since there is quite a recognizable pattern. However, I had a chance to talk to a couple of guys who spend hours writing prompts and testing them. One glance at...

Building a Manufacturing Conglomerate Progress Thread

    EXECUTION
Hey there! I'm glad you decided to keep this thread going. I honestly think it's sort of therapeutic, and also you never know where a good idea may come from. Happy to hear you'll be graduating soon, that's a super positive note! Been there (more times than I like to remember). I believe...

ROI on Social Media Marketing for a Web Design Agency

    SIDE HUSTLE
