ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer
- AI -I don't get the anti-AI people. Here's a personal example of why: I was at Victoria's Secret the other day with my girl, and I happened to read the terms of their credit card while waiting in line just for S's and G's. The terms of the card were interesting and made me realize I didn't quite...- xShepherdx

Random Chat, Thoughts, Posts, and/or Rants Thread
HOT! CHATI didn't know about this until I saw MJ's email about it. For those who need to file but haven't, here's a super quick video I found that shows how easy this is: It took me about 10 minutes with some double-checking and reading up on the entire thing. I would be very upset if I paid someone...- xShepherdx

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer
- AI -Yep, more and more I find myself using ChatGPT to solve problems that are just out of my reach. This week I used it to create what is essentially a free version of Quickbooks inside Google Sheets using the Google Apps Script. Now I can do my business and personal finances in about 5 minutes...- xShepherdx

General Forum Updates... What's New?
IMPORTANT!Love the new updates @MJ DeMarco, the forum is looking better than ever and the post quality is way up too IMO. The new style of the forum has some small flaws but it's cool to see things moving in a new direction. I'm sure the visual stuff will get ironed out soon and doesn't detract from the...- xShepherdx

eCom - Bag Sales
HOT! EXECUTIONJust a suggestion... Have a rough plan in place before you spend any money on "samples". Are you ordering these samples with the intent of shooting ads to start selling the product? If so, how will you make the ad? Who will be in it? What angles will you test? Will you pay someone to make it...- xShepherdx

eCom - Bag Sales
HOT! EXECUTIONSeems like something that could be tested via dropshipping way faster and cheaper. Grab something like this off AliExpress, shoot your own ads (or send it to someone who will make ads for you), and test the product/niche with a $50 investment as opposed to hundreds or more. If the numbers work...- xShepherdx

Needs to be said... sell the DAMN motorcycle.
HOT! RANTEvery time I see someone riding without a helmet, I think of a kid I transported as an EMT. He was in a pretty tame mountain bike race and was wearing a standard helmet. Unfortunately, he went over an unexpected drop and slid downhill on his face for about 10-20 feet. Another racer found him...- xShepherdx

HOT! EXECUTIONThanks Heavy, I really appreciate this! I never thought about it as "work-life synergy" before but that makes a lot more sense to me than "work-life balance". This one is getting printed out and put on my wall so I never forget that the two work together, not against one another.- xShepherdx

xShepherdx's Progress Thread: Building A Fastlane Business
HOT! EXECUTIONNot a business related update but I finally got my finances back in order after getting rid of the last business. And, after doing a lot of soul-searching and work on myself, I decided it was finally time to propose to my girlfriend of 10 years. But I didn't want to just do a regular...- xShepherdx

xShepherdx's Progress Thread: Building A Fastlane Business
HOT! EXECUTIONI love it! So many people at my job complain about, well... everything. They're not wrong that these jobs suck. However, I think that in their frustration, they're missing the many lessons these jobs can teach us. For example, in the last 3 months I've learned SO much about how product is...- xShepherdx

What would be some good ways going about making an E-Commerce website?
HOT! HOT! EXECUTIONGood question! The answer is TONS. I see so much stuff that’s selling a lot that I could make better or market to a different audience.
