Successful businesses you can start (proven with exact examples)

    IDEA
Interesting thread. Similarly interested in Manufacturing/Engineering side of things. Coming from a manufacturing and project engineering background I previously considered consulting on "operations" work on the side. Main aim was to improve process and reduce owner reliance in single owner...

Video game development is my passion and I’m making it my fast lane strategy.

    HOT! EXECUTION
Did you make any headway with getting a publisher? What's your current goal/main thing you are working on? Do you have a roadmap for when you plan to release? Whilst I'm not a game developer myself, a close friend of mine is and he's the first to admit that without a bit of a roadmap and set...

There's GOLD in local services: 0% of $20M is still 0.

    GOLD! HOT! ASSERTION
Can't speak for the US, but seems like a race to the bottom this side of the pond depending on what services. I've seen people on YouTube talking about their gardening/lawn care businesses and how they're doing well to earn 30k a year. Before costs etc. Don't get me wrong, sure plenty are doing...

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
How have you been finding Gemini so far? I've been debating switching my ChatGPT subscription as well, been having a play around with the free Gemini version and have to say I've generally preferred the responses. Haven't really had the chance to try anything too in depth yet though.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
You know, I don't know why but I've never used Gemini. Seems insane now that I think about it, especially as I use the whole Google suite already. I mean I even use a bloody Google pixel phone! Assuming it is just as good, might have to look into switching.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    CHAT - AI -
Haven't read all your posts, so might be something you already do but previously I've had slightly better results by instructing it to check all of its findings and to review before sending them to me.

    Journey to $10k/mo and Beyond...

    EXECUTION
From what I've seen briefly on this thread and the other, your main issue is actually doing the hard work and selling. You spent 15(?)k on the lawncare for all the gear, knocked on doors for an hour, made 10 calls and decided things were too difficult. What are you going to do right now to...

It's OVER. What do I do?

    IDEA MARKETING
I'm no expert, but just some opinions on someone just below average height who might consider these: Might be worth running through your copy, I noticed a few typos Website itself, not a massive fan of the design and was pretty slow to load, particularly pics and video seemed to take a while...

    HOT! IMPORTANT!
I think it's a change for the better. I have to admit I'm somewhat ashamed that whilst I've been a member for a few years I have lurked here in the background (most days) rather than actively contributed. I fell into a real rough patch a while back, and I'm still not there in terms of business...

Used to live near Granada. Less than an hour to Sierra Nevada and half that to the local lake, sure do miss living there.

    Looking for Accountability Partner(s)

    PEOPLE
Is this primarily chat based? I already have a group that I meet with every week, would be good to have a more general accountability group to throw things out there more regularly

    I've Read The Millionaire Fastlane!

    GOLD! HOT!
Felt like a scene out of the movie Limitless if anyone has seen it. I was blind but now I see. Having read TMF a few years ago, I'm currently part way through Unscripted. Thank you @MJ DeMarco

The very words I heard when I first opened the book. The slow realisation that I am an action faker, a wantrepreneur... I've always had an entrepreneurial streak, from selling at carboot sales to writing cr*ppy articles for pennies. Possibly stemming from my parents, who have always taken the...
