Another idea: a "tough love" forum section :P

    If You Were A Moderator

    HOT!
IMHO the easiest/best possible way would be to take a 10 second video of your business's back-end showing sales numbers with a post-it note on the monitor with your forum name. Even a shitty cell phone camera can do this in 2 seconds. How much business is being done is far less important (to...

Mindset issue with money - Need advice

    HOT! MINDSET
Wait, what? First of all that's wrong with money - seeing any kind of success usually drives folks to stop caring because they are doing "well enough". There's effort involved in going from good to great that most people struggle with. Second of all that's wrong with women - you are...

    Selling my Ecommerce Business

    GOLD!
Getting to this point is a slog but at least in my business sale once the offer was "real" the process was really, really quick. Good luck and good job :)

Our Kickstarter Is Live! Follow Along!

    EXECUTION
We've done two reach out to our core list already. I'm going to build a larger, broader list and try again when we hit 100% - we agree that it would be a fresh new angle and a bit more "newsworthy" than 75%. (Actually i just checked and we're at 79% after the most recent email/social...

Our Kickstarter Is Live! Follow Along!

    EXECUTION
1 week down, 75% funded. Not bad. I'm positive we'll hit funding at this point. Hopefully this coming week. Some updates: - We've had almost no media uptake, which has been frustrating. We were really hoping to get into a few blogs, news sites, and facebook pages and it's fallen largely on...

Jay-Z and Beyonce's Mortgage Is News For Some Reason

    RANT
It's called jealousy. Been around forever. Some of it is also ignorance where they feel that they know how to spend other people's money better than they do. Usually to the tune of "Oh if I had that amount of money I'd just pay off my debts, get a normal sized home, pay it off in full, and...

    Toronto MeetUp

    MEETUPS
I think I'll likely end up missing this one. I'll be out of the country and wrapping up my kickstarter around those dates so the likelihood of making it out is slim. If that changes I'll let you know but right now I think I'll have to catch the next one.

    Developing soft skills

    MINDSET
Pick a few things and focus on practicing them ALL THE TIME. One I love is learning to make eye contact and smile at strangers. If you aren't in the habit of doing this it is a GREAT place to start because it's easy and you can do it everywhere. Stopped next to a light? Look over and smile...

This is what taking action has done for me (so far)!

    EXECUTION
Fox probably knows better but I'd be worried about this approach. Companies rarely like hearing "I'm cheap because I'm new and I want you to be one of my early successes". They want to hear (in my experience) "I can fix that huge problem you have for a price that fits your budget". No need to...

    guys I need your help

You're doing too much at once. Getting a PhD is a full time effort. Getting your PhD while working a job is brutal. Getting your PhD while working and starting a side project? I can't imagine. And you say you're a lazy person on top of that? Ouch. You are trying to juggle 5 balls when you...

This is what taking action has done for me (so far)!

    EXECUTION
Cool. Implement the concepts to understand them better. Solve as you go. Get that first sale! What are they? Why do this? Why does it matter what your friends and family think about your business efforts? Why do they need to be informed? Just go get some sales and deliver for your...

Getting in the "zone" or "flow"

    MINDSET
I've tried everything but nothing quite does it like: 1. Having a pretty important and well defined task to actually focus on. 2. Starting on literally anything related to it. If I'm trying to 'work' but have no goal other than to 'do something' I waste a lot of time. Planning, thinking...

    Is Dropshipping Dead?

    HOT!
You could always find something, setup a drop ship page, and see what the click-through-to-checkout is like, before they see shipping times. If you have a lot of clicks into checkout but not a lot of complete sales, you may have found something worth actually holding inventory for. There are...

What laptop should a starting online entrepreneur buy?

    HOT!
Yeah, dual drive is really the way to go. You can get two internal hard drives in most laptops. Sometimes it means losing the cd drive (which literally nothing NEEDS anymore - hell even Windows comes on USB drives now) There's zero benefit IMHO to using a SSD for file storage. It's main and...

What would you do if you CANNOT get a Job ?

    HOT!
I can't fathom a situation where getting a job isn't possible. That being said, there's a million things you can do make money without one. What do you want to do?

What laptop should a starting online entrepreneur buy?

    HOT!
So the BEST option in your case would be a dual-drive setup. An SSD AND a mechanical. - The SSD gets used for all your programs. This means the OS, excel, photoshop, word, chrome, etc... everything that "runs" goes on the SSD. - The normal HDD gets used for all your "data". This is video...

What laptop should a starting online entrepreneur buy?

    HOT!
My office PC is seriously nothing special. Spent less than $500 on it I think. Discount processor + 8 gigs of generic ram with a solid state drive: With this discount build, I go from "off" to editing in Photoshop in 40 seconds: Now, this isn't a laptop, but this is why I'm an SSD pimp...

What laptop should a starting online entrepreneur buy?

    HOT!
How have I not heard of this?! This is going to be an instant purchase with my next laptop. That's Amazing. It changes the game from having a "travel laptop" to having a "travel workstation". Thanks for this.

Thanks, just disabled. I love the alerts, but for me that top red icon is plenty.
