Can we smoke weed in the entrepreneurial world?

    HOT! MINDSET
Cannabis hits everyone differently - some get paranoid, some get relaxed, etc... Also, different strains and strengths and quantities feel different ways - Taking a one hitter off a "normal strength" strain to take the edge off is totally different from smoking a full blunt of a potent strain...

KungFuSteve Hosts A Masterclass On Scaling Your Business!

    MARKETPLACE
What the hell? Of all the people on the forum I would have expected someone to revolt against, @Kung Fu Steve is right smack dab at the bottom of that list. Okay that's a lie, he's probably sipping cocktails with @million$$$smile down there :P If you've ever met the guy in real life (as I...

I found a free tool on Reddit called ImportYeti. You search a company and find it's suppliers. For example, I found who make's NorthFace's Jackets

Ignore the jaded people. Keep contributing. I had never heard of this before and thought it was neat. Another tool in the chest. The problem is that as a business forum, people are on "high alert" for self-promotion and deception. The sad reality is that this forum gets it's fair share of...

How would you spend $1 million dollars and get no sellable value from it?

You must have bought the wrong ones. Mine increase in value every year :)

How would you spend $1 million dollars and get no sellable value from it?

    HOT!
I mean, if you're really trying hard to lose a million dollars on non-recoverable assets and such, you're pretty much firmly in the realm of extreme side-walker / consumer mindset stuff: Gambling (including really bad investments), drugs, high end entertainment, luxury goods, expensive...

Vigilante's "Mind Your Business" Radio Show

    EXECUTION
I've never been so suddenly and cripplingly sick followed by being totally okay again within a 30 minute window. What a damn roller-coaster that was for my newbie cigar smoking a$$! Great times :)

Awesome! It really burns me that I had to shutter the company before it really even got started. I just purely underestimated the funds needed / my skill / the time (or all 3) that it would take to get it running properly. Didn't help that just about every assumption I made was wrong (but...

100% agree. No need for calling each other names and making this personal. The way I see it, roughly three things could happen: 1. The pessimists are right, this will be a total disaster. 2. The optimists are right, this will blow over. 3. Something in between. Regardless of what you think...

For the record, it's people like you and @GIlman (and some others) that keep me coming back to this thread - people with data-driven attitudes that are willing to change and revise their opinions and theories as better data emerges. This forum may have a rule against politics, but the attitude...

Total guess - as more people become "haves", the "have-nots" feel like it's their fault that they are in the situation they are in. Or maybe they feel like the world is against them, to have been stricken with such unlikely bad luck. You don't feel "normal" as a have-not in good times. When...

While this (and other) stimulus packages around the world may not do what they say it will do, it does accomplish one huge goal - stifling public dissension. Governments around the world are playing "anesthesiologists of the masses" right now. They know people are going to lose jobs, going to...

Something that has been cropping up a lot in various discussions I'm seeing is the concept of "viral load" as it pertains to mortality rates, especially as it pertains to younger people. The theory, which may very well be baseless, is that receiving a very large "dose" of the virus (taking a...

Here are some thoughts I just read from Dr. Tom Inglesby, the Director of Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. Copied from twitter, since reading anything on twitter is horrible: In last 24 hrs there've been prominent US voices calling for a stop to social distancing, citing rationale...

Again - the issue is the strain on the healthcare system. Saying that (y) people die from (x) every year isn't relevant here - all those people dying of all those other things don't put undo strain on the healthcare system. We have the infrastructure and bandwidth to handle all those other...

I've never heard of this guy before, so this is my take without context. That video set off my BS alarm pretty significantly. It sounds very much like most other anti-science videos/articles/posts you see on just about any subject. Everything he says is just opinion and speculation. He...

FYI - Ghee (clarified butter) is a great substitute for cooking oil. I can almost guarantee that nobody is hoarding this stuff. You'll find it in the ethnic food aisle (it's used heavily in Indian cuisine). Bonus - your food will taste better AND be healthier than most oils if you switch to...

A bit of Canadian perspective: - US / Canada border now shut to non-essential travel. - Trudeau is considering invoking the Emergencies Act (a replacement to the previous War Measures Act) for the 4th time in history.
