    I currently sell my own branded products. I'm not saying you can't get a website to outperform Amazon/Ebay selling your own brand however i dont' think it's going to be an easy thing to do. I've yet to meet anybody who's said their website far outperforms any other marketplace.

    The need is certainly there. I sell around £500,000 worth of power supplies and Laptop chargers each year. At that's with a lot of competition. It's unfortunately not a product to get excited about and very difficult to market away from Ebay or Amazon.
