Seriously considering Virtual Assistants to replace in house staff

Has anybody had success in using VA's on a regular basis? I've been looking at ways of putting distance between myself the low value work that I have to do in my business. I think I should be able to hire a full time VA to do our customer services (eBay, Amazon, email messages) for a third of...

Biggest lesson from 15 years in business

Recently I made a list of all the mistakes (or lessons) I've had during my time as a business owner. The one that stands out and in my opinion is the single most reason why I'm not at my "freedom" point is that in the last 15 years I've not spent at least 80% of my time taking action on tasks...

#AndyTalks AdWords (70 min video interview)

    MARKETING
Hi Andy I hope you're well. I have a question regarding Adwords if you'd be so kind enough to answer. At what point should I add a keyword as negative if its not converted any clicks into sales? Should I decide on the number of clicks then when it reaches that level maybe disable it? If I've...

We do sell the same things however my prices are cheaper. We offer lifetime warranty on our own brand they don't. I've looked at their feedback on review sites and there's a few complaints because the goods are shipped from France. Ours are shipped from Uk. I know they've got sales staff in Uk...

Has anyone in physical product sales actually got a profitable website?

    HOT!
Yes unfortunately it looks that way MJ. There is a competitor who does sales of £8m a year (they don't sell on eBay or Amazon)but I've got no idea who they are selling to. They do some ppc but not a great deal. AllBatteries.co.uk | Batteries and Chargers at Low Prices! They are actually based...

Has anyone in physical product sales actually got a profitable website?

    HOT!
Yes that's exactly how I advertise the products. I've got over 100,000 eBay listings although this is only spread across 400 products. People search for the model i the device they are using it on so it's important that's in the title on eBay and Amazon. The keyboards I sell only via eBay and...

Has anyone in physical product sales actually got a profitable website?

    HOT!
Yes I'm aware of those two brands. Anker in particular does extremely well on Amazon although they only sell on there which would be my concern if I was the owner. The branding isn't enough on my products at the moment to make it stand out at all however. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

At the moment i get around 500 orders a month from that website but 95% of it is from Google Shopping at a cost of £3.00 per sale. This is what's eating up all the margin unfortunately. On Ebay and Amazon i sell around 3000. But thats across Europe also. It's still a big difference.

One thing i haven't mentioned which is another thing that differentiates sellers apart from brand is knowledge of what power adapter goes with what model. For example i could go onto Casio website and check some of their latest Electronic keyboards, i then download the manual and determine what...

I'm waiting for a new delivery of stock so a lot of laptop chargers are low or out of stock. We do however have most power supplies in stock. There is a lot of battery models on there without stock and this is because I don't have the funds to buy them at the moment. I don't cross sell from...
