    You are right a platform is more scalable but, why would people join it? You can start today buying electronics or fixing them for people. Building a reputation as a repairman or seller or both.. Then work on the platform to expand.. my opinion.

    95% of "repairs" was reformatting and re-installing an OS, cleaning dust out, replacing a cracked screen.. Also I would upgrade RAM or Hardrive.. bundle software/games Childsplay, literally ;)

    QUESTION 
    All depends on how you frame it, if you frame it to your ideal customer, as new software that WILL solve their problem, and you need their help to create a UI they will like.. They will 100% be glad to use it and work with you. This is different than asking if they "want to be beta testers"..

    My man, you need to either partner with someone and repair these devices.. Or buy them, repair and, re-sell.. Either you can start doing NOW. Source, I bought my first car with money I made from fixing flipping electronics back when I was 12-15 years old.

    Love this thread! I find cold calling extremely hard, I find not being able to "Read/see" who I'm talking to the hardest part. In-person I can talk to anyone, I'd much rather drive around, walk in, and ask to speak to the owner LOL, but that's just me. Something I need to work on!
