How much does a University's ranking matters?
Firstly, if you are going to be paying for education - education should so obviously and painfully come first. If you were trying to get healthy, would you be asking whether or not you should pick the gym that sells the best junk food? It makes no sense. Secondly, again assuming you will be...- JAJT

2020 Fastlane Summit at Talking Stick Resort... Event Info
MEETUPSIt pains me to say I won't be attending this year, but having attended previous events in the past - I urge anyone on the fence to absolutely get in on this. It's a truly amazing experience with truly amazing people. Everyone is super welcoming and the venue is absolutely killer. It shouldn't...- JAJT

Informal Dinner at Underdog's BBQ in Erie, PA (Undercover Billionaire's Restaurant)
GOLD!Once again, KAK does something amazing as if it was literally nothing. Kyle, you're probably one of the best examples on the forum of someone who thinks bigger and then follows through. No pussyfooting around or debating or wondering if it will be worth it. Just "I'm doing this, who's in?"...- JAJT

"Hustle House": What would you want living-wise as an entrepreneur?
HOT!Keto... beer.... does not compute :P Also I sadly (happily?) gave up brewing when I realized I brewed 200 gallons (that's like 1514 tallboys) in a single year and decided I should probably consider a healthier hobby, dangnabbit. Anne's bang on. While I get to go to the summit every few...- JAJT

Dr. SEO Audits & Triaging Your Websites
NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLEI'm surprised this thread died on the vine. Guy offers free auditing, gets a top recommendation from a forum legend, and... that's it? If I still had my website live I'd have loved to let you publicly audit it. This thread could easily become a gold thread for anyone looking to optimize...- JAJT

Reading a lot - is this really the #1 trait of rich people?
HOT! MINDSETIt's worth considering that wealthy people have gotten to where they are by consciously making positive and better decisions about what they do and how they do it in many areas of their life. Reading for the wealthy may very well simply be yet another one of many small choices they made along...- JAJT

Looking to sell my time for experience
MARKETPLACELooking back through this thread, it appears that one of your biggest issues is that you are basically saying: "I can do a lot of things, what do you want me to do? How can I add value to you?" And everyone you ask is responding with: "Great question, I don't know. Nothing for now, I guess"...- JAJT

Looking to sell my time for experience
MARKETPLACEEver heard of technical writing? It's basically EXACTLY this. You are provided with a heap of dry, dense scientific/industry literature and your job is to summarize and re-write this into layman's terms. There are courses for this and some do it purely freelance but it's typically a very...- JAJT

Quick 15$ for the best idea!
IDEAI'd personally pay quite a bit for good toys that didn't break. For me, that question might as well be "what price would you pay to prevent your children from asking why Santa sends them bad toys that makes them cry?". That's not hypothetical. I've had my children ask this to me exact thing...- JAJT

Quick 15$ for the best idea!
IDEAOnce you get into this world you'll realize that ideas are the easy part, it's the implementing them that's the hard part. Most serious entrepreneurs have a a million ideas sitting around collecting dust. Here's one for you - high quality children's toys. As a father I get irrationally angry...- JAJT

Quick 15$ for the best idea!
IDEANot when you consider that the Inside is more valuable when the quality of people there is high and the number of people remains relatively low. People post the intricate details of the businesses they are working on in that section and share details that they don't want the general public to...- JAJT

Are you kidding yourself? Do you really want to grow your business?
GOLD! RANTI could be totally off base here, but the second I read this I immediately wondered if they were worried about appearances and didn't consider that the actions they associated with hard working and the actions they associated with being lazy were accidentally reversed in this scenario. If this...- JAJT

Alcoholic housmate needs to go
PEOPLEWhile it's obviously nice to graciously ask people and hope they agree - I would 100% formalize this. Figure out what your eviction processes are for where you live and present the eviction with your explanation (if you feel the need to do this). I also wouldn't be opposed to making up a story...- JAJT

Undercover Billionaire, My Take on the Fake...
HOT!So I finally got a chance to skim through the episodes (rather quickly, I admit) and yeah, it's pretty standard "reality show 101" stuff here. Lots happening on-screen, probably a ton more going on off-screen. It's a reality show. That's how they are. Great learning moments all over the place...- JAJT

Outliers
It's been a while since I read the book so maybe I'm forgetting parts of it, but wasn't the book mostly trying to get the point across that outliers are often products of their environments or situations rather than (or in addition to) effort? I mean, I do recall that extreme amounts of...- JAJT

Gaming (Video, Board, etc)
There is actually a huge need for this in the market. Nobody has fulfilled it in any great way, yet. Most "how to play" videos are skeletons of the rulesets at best. Enough to make the video interesting and follow along but not good enough to actually start playing from. If you can spend the...- JAJT

I want to write a -really- polarizing / antagonizing book
IMHO you're likely going to have a hard time gaining ANY credibility if people can't put a face to a name. If you want to go the anonymous route, it would be better to team up with a reputable reporter and break the story/book through them. This way you can borrow the reporter's credibility by...- JAJT

Gaming (Video, Board, etc)
Yeah, that's pretty much my opinion as well. Video games are already a gigantic industry and you can find a great number of solo entrepreneurs as well as multi million (billion?) dollar corporations. You have small apps and large apps and small games and large games and indie games and...- JAJT
