Fermented Food Business: – Looking for Manufacturing, Ingredient, Label Sourcing, Shelf Life, Distribution, and Scaling Questions
SOURCING SCALINGThat is tough, if you're a bit further along and talking with stores.. Offer to do a pop-up demo at their store, you can do it weekdays, and prove demand that way also. I do that all the time, especially when stores are skeptical.- EngineerThis

Fermented Food Business: – Looking for Manufacturing, Ingredient, Label Sourcing, Shelf Life, Distribution, and Scaling Questions
SOURCING SCALINGLove it Bingo, It's important to become an expert in your product, especially with high end clean food. Customers like to know the guy who makes it, become an expert first, then hire help, then expand to a co-packer.. When you're doing smaller runs it's WAY easier to iterate and experiment with...- EngineerThis

Start a business; make friends!
MINDSETYes I’m definitely meeting people that heard of me from others! It’s such a difference, since they’re “warmed up”. Very cool how quick word can spread without any type of campaign. Just putting myself out there in public a lot.- EngineerThis

Start a business; make friends!
MINDSETI realized something the other day, I know A LOT of people now. People who were strangers a few months ago, now are acquaintances and friends. We moved halfway across the US 6 months ago, and knew NO-ONE here in this city. Now when I walk around markets, people smile and wave, ask how my...- EngineerThis

The lifestyle, hobbies, and fun thread.
HOT! CHATA hobby of mine has always been working on cars. It’s creative, challenging, rewarding, and has saved my family and I tens of thousands over the years. I’m stoked to enjoy this more with my toddler. She’s now 2, and is very helpful when wrenching. We just replaced the alternator on my Jaguar XJ8...- EngineerThis

HOT! - AI -You have got me interested, super cool. the only thing I'm curious.. Semi-related.. If the bar is so low now, that "anyone" can have AI agents code them 10 apps in a lunch hour.. How the F is anyone going to get their software out there.. Seems the marketplace is set to be absolutely swamped...- EngineerThis

Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETThis is a great point. I always thought I had Seasonal disorder living in Michigan where winter is 7months long, Grey, cold, and snowy… truth is I was just a bitch.. Has Moving to a Warm and Sunny Climate Made You Happier?
NOTABLE! MINDSETToday I had to change the Alternator on my Jaguar, it was a crisp 50* outside.. Yet I was LOVING IT.. Why? Since I started working on cars at age 15.. Something inevitably breaks over winter (Since winter is half the year back in Michigan), which meant the previous 15 years of winter were spent...- EngineerThis

HOT! CHATFun! That's what I did when I was younger, I'd concentrate on vintage video game systems, iPods, and anything with an engine. Moved onto cars/bikes.. Made anywhere from $100-$5000 a flip. Was fun! Best bet is look for collections, like a Nintendo 64.. Then sell it on eBay.. You can get triple...- EngineerThis
