What is the BEST "value" you ever paid for?

    NOTABLE! HOT! CHAT EXECUTION
Apparently, the potassium alum doesn't stay as potassium alum but dissolves into ionic aluminum once it gets in contact with water. I found a nice article regarding the topic Chemical of the Day - Most Controversial - Confirmed: Aluminum in Crystal Deodorants IS Absorbed The full study she's...

    I'm Mage. Here's my idea

    IDEA
Imagine you help an old lady across the street and she suddenly wants to give you money. Would you take it? That's the way I feel about this app. I would probably be very irritated if somebody tried to compensate me for being a decent person. Like what the hell, I did this because I wanted to...

What Are The Best Altcoins To Look Out For In Cryptocurrencies?

    HOT! CRYPTO INVESTING
I really like Shift and Substratum. They are both trying to decentralize hosting by using spare resources from phones and computers instead of servers. The nice bonus is that that would circumvent the blockage or throttling of certain sites in countries like China or Russia (or in the future...

What is the BEST "value" you ever paid for?

    NOTABLE! HOT! CHAT EXECUTION
I was pretty excited about this but I looked it up and it turns out it isn't free from aluminium. Quite the contrary actually, they are free from aluminum chlorohydrate but use potassium alum which is the potassium double sulfate of aluminum. The claim is that those crystals are too big to enter...

Is this idea another selfish business plan based on passion?

    IDEA
At some point in his or her life every gym bro thinks about becoming a personal trainer or starting a Youtube channel. As a result there are a ****-ton of these channels out there. Now, call me biased but the fact that one of your plans is to offer supplements down the line leads me to believe...

There's a bunch of work being done on computers, not the least of which this forum. So should we stop every advancement that people in third world countries don't have access to or don't profit from immediately? How will those tools ever become widely available if we don't start somewhere...

Is it possible to gain weight / mass with just US$50 per month?

    HEALTH
If you want to gain weight protein powder isn't your best option. Protein is extremely satiating and excess protein will make it hard for you to get the necessary calories in. Plus it's pretty much impossible not to get enough protein, especially in a calory surplus. Your best budget options...

The effect states that the one who already performed the favor is more likely to perform future favors, not to receive. Meaning that he's more likely to work for free again if the musician asks him to

Best countries for "losers" (Overwhelming Majority)

    OFF-TOPIC
No, that is not what I mean. I still plan to make enough money to get and do everything I want. But in my eyes, the job of the government is to make policy that is in the best interest of the entire population and not that of a small subset. As not everything is about me the best choice from a...

Best countries for "losers" (Overwhelming Majority)

    OFF-TOPIC
Call me crazy but I'd prefer to live in a country for "losers" being on the winning side. My personal success doesn't invalidate the needs of others. Now, some might say that the "losers" simply haven't earned their right to live a dignified life. But are you really okay with living in a...

How to commit brand suicide (Or why you should know your customers)

If they see their audience as the entirety of the American population I guess that's true. But currently, the vast majority of Americans don't purchase nut, oat etc. milks, boosting the percentage of vegans in their buyer base. Also, I don't really see what they are trying to gain from that...

How to commit brand suicide (Or why you should know your customers)

I would guess that in those cases the people were buying the brand because of the brand and/or because they didn't have good alternatives. What are people going to do, not get a Windows computer? So it's still more comfortable to them to use an outdated version than to learn how to use Linux or...

How to commit brand suicide (Or why you should know your customers)

Recently we've heard stories of businesses losing their customers by treating them like garbage. Now, a brave business has stepped forward to show us how to up the ante and lose customers by the millions with only a couple posts on social media. The company I'm talking about is Rude Health...
