    Documenting my Google Ads journey

    EXECUTION
I can vouch for Andy's course on how to set up your campaigns (if it's still available). Seriously one of the best value courses I've ever taken.

    HOT! CHAT
My girlfriend is Indonesian and is currently learning English as it is pretty basic at the moment. Strangely enough, her biggest problem is remembering actor names when we are trying to pick a movie to watch. Denzel Washington will now always be Daniel Wankston to me haha. It does amaze me how...

Do you know what you’re doing with your money?

    INVESTING
Ha, back when I did phone sales for an insurance company, it used to KILL me when people couldn't see that I was leading them to a path where I could offer them a 15% discount. We couldn't outright say if you had a cheaper price, we will give you a discount. Lots of people just flat out refused...

I rarely open Facebook these days, but just when I thought it couldn't get any lamer, they have added a meta AI summary of comments. And on pages/posts that I don't follow, just literal random shit they are trying to suggest to me. Cringe.

    Alcohol drinking habits

    HOT! MINDSET
I have a girlfriend now that doesn't drink alcohol. Not that I drank much before but it's out of my life completely now without any effort at all.

Dan Bilzerian and his Trust Fund Daddy Indicted on Federal Charges...

    GURUS
Ha, Rogan bought his "I made it through poker" line 100% There was a video going round a few years ago showing Dan to be a bit of a boob when it came to poker. Bryan Callen was the only guest that could see through it from the beginning and he was shamed for it.

He's right, I've heard Sterling Spencer on his podcast talk about how wearing a helmet surfing throws everything way off. But maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Rant: shoe stores don't sell shoe laces... Went to 4 yesterday in a mall after buying a new pair of shoes. No Bueno... Weird. By the time I went to the 4th store I would have paid double price.

The WordPress vs. WP Engine Debacle - The Battle of Private Equity

    WEB DESIGN
Ah ok. But it's not like WordPress is trying to force people to use automattic hosting. It's a trademark issue from Matt's side apparently. "I’ve been writing and talking about WP Engine a lot in the last week, but I want to be crystal clear about the core issue at play. In short, WP Engine...

Why Quiet Quitting Is Holding You Back in Life

    GOLD! MINDSET
Half my management team and half of the team on my level (about 15 people) are pretty much quiet quitting. It's one of the more frustrating things I've come across. I really can't wrap my head around the concept, it feels impossible to me. Especially when it makes life so much harder for your...

Just saw this video suggested to me on YouTube that reminded me of the subtitle chat here a few weeks ago, and why it's more common to watch with them now. Super basic recap is that there are 2 things going on. One being that movies are now being mixed with the optimal, highest level of...

My Dad is an electrician looking to start winding down as he gets older, and is thinking about starting a little test and tag business. Not sure what licensing is required for this in the states, but in Australia I don't believe you need a full electrical contractors license to do it. Seems like...

Damn, that's pretty cool! I only kart with some friends once a year or so. I'd love to get more into it. The rental karts in Australia suck haha. I always enjoy visiting the track in Phuket when I'm on holiday there as they're not as safety conscious and you can rent a kart that actually has...

Language barrier hasn't been a problem for me. I really like the city and find there are countless restaurants and rooftop bars and the like. I found it far more interesting than Singapore. I've been coming here every 2 to 3 weeks since April but back to being based in Bali next month...
