I work with a bunch of incredibly lazy blue collar workers. Our leading hand figured out the only way to make them productive is to offer them an early mark from work (still paid for the whole day) for getting certain jobs done. Never seen them moved so fast lol.

I don't want to pry too much but if you were happy to share I'd be curious what percentage of labour revenue you go with.

How do you decide what to work on on a day-to-day basis?

    MINDSET
Whiteboard session. Pro's and cons. Order of importance. What can be crossed out. Even just scribbling down what I'm thinking while I'm going through it. Writing things down works well for me. I even bought a roll up whiteboard sheet that I take with me when I travel.

I don't have children but it's something I am now wanting to do in the next few years. But I'm so happy that I waited till later in life so that I not only understand better how indoctrinating school is, but can also plan for and afford to do home schooling.

Do real estate agents even need their personal websites?

    REAL ESTATE
Strange so many of them don't have their own site for branding. Maybe they still see themselves as employees and there isn't much of a demand.

Is it a good or bad thing to earn $1 million too early in life through luck?

    MINDSET
An older and little bit of a distant relative of mine that is wealthy told me his story, that he won the lottery when he was very young and wasted it all buying and racing dirt bikes and just having a good time, but when he ran out of money it spurred him on to become a financial success. He...

Weird rant time. Whenever I am super impressed with a business I always let them know. Maybe once in my life have I been asked to leave a review. Even worse, when I've actually asked them if they would like me to leave a review, most of the time they just shrug.

Wow what a tragic story all round. I saw the viral clip of him crashing in the dunes only to see in the comments he died riding on the streets a few months later.

If you need to hassle a mother trying to wrangle 2 kids through a flight so that you can get practice and stay sharp  it's not a job well done, it's a job poorly done.

True story: I don't make eye contact with the explosives tester, and look like I'm in a little bit of a rush (but not too much ..) at security screening and now they almost always go for the old lady next to me. It's a good thing too because she probably has nail clippers and needs a beat down.

One of my closest friends is a GP and his partner works for the state govt in the health department. They were insufferable during covid... They are pretty sheepish about it now though and don't like to talk about it but closest I got was that they admitted they were told bullshit. The Doctor...

My girlfriend goes live on tik tok for a large French makeup company, talking about and selling their products for them. She's not based in the US though, but it's interesting to see how many companies use it like this. They don't even bother with the other platforms. Not the same as...
