    I'm not Vegan but I still cannot believe that chicken battery cages are not completely banned by now. I know they are being slowly phased out, but it's still over another decade or two. It actually blows my mind that it's still allowed.

    I'm not sure why this is the case in Jakarta, maybe because the majority of tourists are Asian and it's actually a massive city that has a tonne of international corporate offices here. Although there is a lot of poverty still, there is also a lot of wealthy Indonesian people here.
