Observations From Around the Globe
OFF-TOPICBack in Bali for a few weeks, this time I was here for Nyepi on Saturday. It's a Balinese Hindu holiday which is a day of complete silence. No one is allowed outside their villa or hotel from 6am Saturday to 6am Sunday. The hotel still has breakfast, lunch and dinner but no lights or TV, and...- MattR82

The Revival of My Father's 18 Year Old Invention
INVESTING PEOPLE QUESTIONI think you missed the more important part of what he was saying. What kind of patent was it when your father did it 18 years ago? Is it necessary to spend a lot of money on a national patent when a provisional patent costs next to nothing and gives you a year or so to shop the idea around? This...- MattR82

HOT! CHATI bought a Samsung watch so that I can check WhatsApp messages at work when I have my hands on a core drill or am driving. But I STILL get people calling me even when they see that I have just left to go to another location on site and started driving only 30 seconds ago. Drives me insane.- MattR82

HOT! CHATYep. I'm looking at clients in 5 to 10k AUD per month which is approx team of 2 cleaners each night, mon to Fri. You're a bit of a rarity as most of the smaller weekly jobs like that have expectations that exceed what they're paying for. Fortunately there's also a movement against using and...- MattR82

HOT! CHATI've had somewhat of a self limiting beliefs when it comes to targeting clients in the 5 to 10k per month area (office cleaning business) which is much higher than what I'm used to I knew it was stupid to think like that, but after discussing with a friend about their service at the private...- MattR82
