    MARKETING
Dude you might be overreacting.. don't take criticism so hard.. You came in with strong limiting belief and you got a strong answer.. As far as, hunting.. do not be running from it or avoiding it etc. As said, we all need both but we all come from certain side. Some better at one thing, others...

    Book Marketing: Farming and Hunting

    MARKETING
I don't think he went into that much extreme. He didn't say be on all forums and social medias. But do be on some most relevant ones. Simple fact is that the more active you are on few marketing mediums the more you are farming and building up your author platform. Def. agree that PPC is...

    Book Marketing: Farming and Hunting

    MARKETING

I want to start a Digital Marketing Agency

    MARKETING
If the person wants to learn, he will not wait for you or anyone to learn and take action. 100% people say they want to learn something, 5% actually do it. If you got lucky once, doesn't mean it is a good practise. Also, it's a bit difference to hire an apprentice and have him guided than have...

I want to start a Digital Marketing Agency

    MARKETING
Let's not get too positive and optimistic.. would you hire someone for marketing who doesn't know marketing? Or someone to design stuff who doesn't know design. I highly doubt it... There must be some learning. You have to learn things before you can actually provide value. Luckily these days...

I want to start a Digital Marketing Agency

    MARKETING
That's viable.. esp. if person is great at marketing even and loves to learn that side of the biz. I wouldn't do it personally as first biz but it's quite simple arbitrage stuff. So it can work.. As long as you find good freelancers.

That seems like conflict of interest and not something that builds up trust with vendors... more seems like a shiny-object for you.. And from what I've read on marketplaces, bringing in vendors is usually good place to start and is first thing to do.

How often do Authors use Designers?

    FTE PUBLISHING
Neither. It is about doing banners for Facebook Ads, Twitter ads, Instagram, website header etc. No big designs like full website or book cover.
