Do/Did You Surround Yourself With Action Takers?

    HOT! PEOPLE
Why not? They might do it. And then you'd be doing both, drinking and having fun and probably talking some business. Who said entrepreneurs don't party at all (there is time and place for it)..

Do/Did You Surround Yourself With Action Takers?

    HOT! PEOPLE
You're misunderstanding the quote maybe. It's not about not talking with slowlaners or ignoring etc. It's application of 80/20 rule in your friends in a way. There are people you hang out most with and if they are 'positive' than you're likely 'positive', if they have lots of potential but don't...

    fitness community

What works for one person doesn't work for other one. You would just encourage broscience and anecdotal advice. Maybe start a different, niched down community, for certain group of people going to the gym and trying to reach some goal. Like let's say group of wrestlers or powerlifters or discuss...

are covers important in self-pub/Kindle world?

    PUBLISHING
Premade covers are great for short stories. I wouldn't suggest buying a custom cover for short story at first, that would be too much investment. But if you make few thousand by releasing each new short story then it becomes a viable investment.

Hey, we all been there. In any business endevour. It will be slow, but you can see success stories in this forum already. It's possible, just don't overexpect at first. Sometimes people build up so much expectations but when it doesn't workout as fast as they want and they give up. Better to...

are covers important in self-pub/Kindle world?

    PUBLISHING
Not really. Everything has opportunity cost. You could spend the time learning how to design or writing/marketing. You're way better of with choice no.2. If $40 is an investment, you got problems... that's not much at all. Normal cover costs from $200-500 and you'd get what can stand up to any...

are covers important in self-pub/Kindle world?

    PUBLISHING
It's a multiplier. Some people get intrigued by cover and check out the book just because of it. Doesn't always buy (maybe a bad description or just not their type of book), but it can multiply the amount of attention it gets. Some people don't care (but that's a very small part of buyers, most...

Package content and sell on Amazon or go it alone??

    PUBLISHING
Amazon is absolutely must use for Fiction writers. No other option. Non-fiction tho. It's crazy to only to sell on Amazon and for low price. Crazy. Solving problems is worth a lot of money!

www.nathanbarry.com dude sold two non-fiction books for way more and built up big name and audience. He's doing non-fiction book sales right. No Amazon. Different thing from fiction completely.

Outsourcing Tips from a Web Developer: Don’t Waste Your Money or Time!

Good post. Looking for a Wordpress developer currently it's hard to find good one. oDesk sucks balls with it's review system which isn't honest (people don't leave honest reviews most of the time, they are all padded for the better side). Had two below average hires and lost client already...

Can anybody recommend a good company to help us automate our emails?

I was with Campaign Monitor, great service but gotta say Active Campaign beats it and dwarfs Mail Chimp/Aweber too. It has free 2500 subscribers feature too which is more than MC (and the real reason why MC got popular, not because it's features).

Can anybody recommend a good company to help us automate our emails?

www.ActiveCampaign.com not as expensive as big ones like InfusionSoft or Ontraport but almost as good (just missing shopping cart and/or sending out physical mail and managing it).
