Where to find business problems (B2B)?

I understand that you're in a tough spot personally. Many of us have been there, and it is very challenging. You probably have lots of people that genuinely care for you, like family, friends, etc, that truly want to see you succeed. What you may not see is that it pains them as much as it...

Where to find business problems (B2B)?

Wow. You do realize that this forum was created and based on the principles of the author, right? It is probably the farthest from "motivations" you can get, and is based on solid principles. If you take the time to look around, you'll find hundreds of success stories from people who started...

Where to find business problems (B2B)?

You can easily google it. It took me literally 5 seconds to lookup "industry challenges for roofing". Industry journals are another-- again, google x industry journal and you'll get a ton of results. The issue will not be in finding the problems. If you approached someone the way you wrote your...

"Biz for Sale" Bird Dog...is this a thing?

Absolutely a thing, but what you could make depends on how far along you tackle the deal, deal size, your diligence, etc. A simple referral would probably get a flat fee, whereas getting it under LOI, closed, financed, etc would warrant a cut. Some good info here...

    Services I Overpaid For

I tried to use taskrabbit a couple of times. One, it's more expensive, probably double per hour. Two, it's limited to only a few available taskers and their own schedule. What I like about CL is I set the terms, and then people self select and contact me, so there is no back and forth on those...

    Services I Overpaid For

    1) I needed a part replaced for my beater car. Auto shops wanted anywhere from $250 to $500. I had a certified mechanic do it for $40 and $20 in parts. Bonus: He came to me and worked in my driveway, saving me hours of waiting and drop off/pick up time. 2) on multiple occasions I needed...

    Should I buy this business?

    HOT!
Amazon is a unique animal. You say "if" you can do what you think. I'm not trying to doubt your abilities, but rather, shed light on what could happen. Will it actually sell on Amazon? Can you throw up some listings and test it? Offer the current owner to do it as a benefit to them. Let's say...

    Should I buy this business?

    HOT!
Make sure to account for this in your calculations. If you have to pay $3000/mo to lease space that the owner didnt have to account for since he owns the property, that's a significant chunk of your cash flow. The offer should be based on a multiple of your number, not the seller's. Re...

How to scale my business and finally profit

    HOT!
Just some ideas off the top of my head: Get your average order value up, split test either a 2 for $40 or buy 2 get 3rd free promo (maybe test with your customer/email list). Make sure your cash flow can support it, of course. Yes, margins as a percentage will go down, but absolute profit should...

Let's do it! I vote for option 1 or 2 for location. Does Kona have private/semi-private seating for groups? If not, then Seasons would be ideal IMO.

I made a sample and sold it quickly, but still skeptical. Is there enough feedback?

Assuming this is a printable product (t-shirt, mug, etc), just google print on demand companies or go on aliexpress, you should be able to order the quantity you want.

How much equity should I give this All-Star?

    NOTABLE! PEOPLE
I highly highly recommend a book called Who?, by Geoff Smart. It's a quick read, no fluff guide on finding, vetting, and defining your needs for various team members. Especially useful is their interview guide that helps cut through 99% of the fluff that typically pads resumes and interviews.

How much equity should I give this All-Star?

    NOTABLE! PEOPLE
Right now, you're in a binary situation. Either he accepts what you offer, or not. If he feels you are his only option, it puts you in a weak negotiating position. I think you're making the false assumption that there is no alternative. I would go on LinkedIn, and within 5 minutes, you can find...
