    Yes, that's the advance/grant portion that doesn't have to be paid back. The actual EIDL (I keep on calling it EDIL) loan itself is supposed to replace lost revenue and does have to be paid back, but over a 30 year term.

If your credit is still good, you may want to look at 0% balance transfer offers, some will let you stretch 15-18 months with a 3% fee, possibly saving a ton of interest and spacing out payments longer.
