    The "Astonishing Secrets" Thread

    GOLD! MINDSET
I just realised a new level of the icecream attitude; We don't change our customers behaviours, we change our own. You are never rejected, because YOU can always change. And the anger, the bitterness, and all that stuff, comes from feeling like the world is so cruel that you don't want to...

The One Stupid Thing YOU Need To STOP Doing Today

    MINDSET
It isn't so much "stupid" as it is "not as good for you". If you always speak, you are always up for misinterpretation. That generally distracts from progress. You can certainly speak if you are comfortable, but you have to find your own reasons, so that when you speak about stuff you aren't...

    HOT!
Ok, I have an idea for customer experience and am now looking ahead to how to execute on it. Its ironic how having everything in my plan that I always wanted leaves me realising that I dunno what to do with it haha. So figuring that out is my next step. Great "plan", but wtf does that even...

    Succeeding without network/money/knowledge/education

    RANT
Money - preorders are easy enough, ask if they are buying and if willing to buy x, then offer a discount and tell them when they can expect to get it Money to scale - Maybe you are referring to large scale; firstly you don't need to be a giant, secondly, you can get seed money tons of ways that...

    HOT!
Past day felt like I just sat around on the couch half passed out, mumbling in a comatose like haze I guess I'll call it a business enduced hangover :hilarious::headbanger: I have no idea what work I got done, but there seem to be five new pages in my business plan  Joking aside lets...

Do What YOU Want (Slomo / Unscripted)

    OFF-TOPIC
I realised lately that "doing what you love" is an infuriating pile o cr#p. The difference is Passion as an obligation is not a good thing What you want actually has no specific obligations and is agile and can handle finances easy enough Ok, onto the vid (awesome btw, cheers socaldude), if...

What's your biggest mental barrier holding you back?

    HOT! MINDSET
Am a bit clouded I think, it makes me a bit slow. Eating better helps speed up that process, and less stress to bring in cash helps me focus clearer. I try to be calm because inspite of the contradiction, being calm helps me not get swept up in dumb thought processes.

Business structures are set up, and diligence on everything that needs it is done (still refining it but its not requiring a ton of leg work), now am focusing on product. Mostly am dancing and singing. Protip: Financially, consistency is more valuable than higher pay, because if you are...

Good enough to make profit? Profit humanity

    MINDSET
Exact is a tough ask, but if I was to give an idea "I have to have xyz success first" "only xyz person will be able to achieve abc" "when I achieve xyz I can then abc" "gah, this is really hard, it will all magically make sense and be safer later" "I am already doing good things, its money that...

Good enough to make profit? Profit humanity

    MINDSET
Been soul searching the last couple days, rediscovering the reason I took up business in the first place, and since I have reached a point where I'm getting cash flow and am mentally capable enough to do diligence on everything, I decided that there is only one more thing left to do. I would be...

    The breath before the plunge

    HOT!
Protip: Peoples negatives stop mattering as you get stuff done, only slow people worry. If you are getting stuck on individual statements etc, you are going too slow (going too slow is caused by poor due diligence, good due diligence is fast and lightweight which allows you to do it at large...

Admitting there's a problem is the first step.

    NOTABLE! MINDSET
Cool, you are firmly taking action daily. Keep pushing creatively to optimise cashflow. I like that you sourced a good, cuz if you cannot sell it you can source another that you can, until the wall breaks into sales, its more immediate than "branding" and "developing software" because, each...

Mentally and Financially Recovering From a Failed Business?

    HOT!
The best thing for the pain is due diligence and action. If you keep doing both, you will always roll forward. Secondly, fear of getting torn apart by vultures only applies when you feel ashamed of yourself, so if you do your best and better than others around you, it will be clear, and you...
