Thoughts on Kinds of Cognition (Proactive vs Reactive)

    MINDSET OFF-TOPIC
This is a bit of psychological philosophizing. I'll bite. I didn't really catch a proper question in your post, but here's my two cents... I think the reactive mind person is called to take action more than the proactive mind person. For instance, a person who is reactive minded will get a...

Canva is the F*cking GOAT in Design

    OFF-TOPIC
Update as of today, April 21, 2026 in my Inbox: Canva just liberated Calvary–a motion graphics app and made it 100% free. Please miss me with excuses on why you can't make it. People are really out here enabling massive success and you're pouting about biscuits. Get your shit straight. Get a...

Web Dev Positioning - the Anti-AI Play

    HOT! MARKETING
I feel like this is still gimmicky... On the face of it, it seems to be saying "Oh, this is artisan." You could make the case for charging higher rates and providing better service, etc. However, if this is JUST a smoke screen (which I believe most things with AI in it are), then the only...

C's get degrees, what about C-grade CENTS businesses?

    FEEDBACK
Not sure how "it's" working out to be honest... I've figured out Crucial Calm's business model for me if that helps. I'm not longer worried about it. All is well in that department–as for other departments, that's a whole nother thread, homie.

    Beware-O-Snakes in Your Grass, Bra

    MINDSET
Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm so f*cked up right now I just needed sleep to want to get back into volleying with the A players who've come into my life recently. Update: I love you guys.

    Beware-O-Snakes in Your Grass, Bra

    MINDSET
And therein lies the rub, my friend. Your wife has no logical, moral, sensible reason to ever cheat on you. And even if she did, why would she? You've asked the question, but have you really grappled with the answers? Have you considered all possibilities? Have you toiled with the loss before...

Social media is realer than real life Just because motherfuckers will shake your hand, smile in your face, and call you "Fam" don't mean jack shit. Oddiox – The world's first quick, audio-only social network for realer human connection.

    IDEA
Yes, similar to all the above. Sure, but not at all like them at the same time b/c those platforms weren't built by The King of Business. Most of these tech things are built by white and Asian guys with limiting beliefs, relatively idyllic upbringings, and oodles of cash. IMO, those are the...

Oddiox – The world's first quick, audio-only social network for realer human connection.

    IDEA
Yup, I'm F*cking doing this. I'm building a social network for oddballs who actually want to connect with people fast. It's going to be audio-only. Here're the pros I've identified so far for my vision (full breakdown here: Oddiox: The world's first quick, audio-only social network for...

Lex DeVille's - 200 Mostly Offline Rental Business Ideas

    NOTABLE! IDEA
Do you have existing demand for using your garage space(s) and backyard in this way? This sounds like an interesting idea, but it does ring a bit more self-serving. As a Fastlaner, it's important to always be thinking in terms WIIFM–What's in it for me? B/c that's what your customers will...

Lex DeVille's - 200 Mostly Offline Rental Business Ideas

    NOTABLE! IDEA
This thread is absolute gold. It's so simple it's genius. I'll add one if it's not already been: TVs for restaurants/cafés/local businesses. Think of it like Rent-A-Center for TVs so business owners don't have to invest such huge overhead into this rapid-obsolescence "tech". You could...
