Your place looks super homey! Oh... and this is interesting. So I grew up in Issaquah, WA, a town just outside of Seattle which is saturated with Microsoft and Boeing employees. The average house here costs around $800k. Growing up, I was extremelyyy poor. My dad's business only...

    Excited about a new beginning

I just released my first mobile game and have already chosen to go a different route. I had a good chat with a big developer in an IRC chat Saturday night. His advice was to either "go big or go home." As Steve Jobs said, trust your instincts and do what interests you. It may not make sense...

Mindset: "Quiet Wealth". A thing of the past?

    HOT! MINDSET
Point made haha. If you're doing something for the sake of how other's will perceive you, you're still being "flashy." Always do something you want because you want it, not because someone else will.

Mindset: "Quiet Wealth". A thing of the past?

    HOT! MINDSET
I think the vast majority of people on these forums priority list is #1 freedom, then somewhere down the line is #n fun toys. A young entrepreneur's end goal may not be to buy a Lamborghini, but for many of us it was the first goal. Such as MJ's story about seeing a Lambo when he was a kid, I...

    New Here....Need Some Advice

If you can make money playing poker, more power to you! I play blackjack quite a bit for fun with a 3 tier counting system and always make money when I go out. My goal is more to pay for my buddies and I's drinks for the night rather than primary income haha, but it is fun.

Hey it's 12:34 here... cool hahaha. Anyways, here's a little interesting update on my progress journey. I just released a mobile app to the Google Play market. My plan was to continue with the B2C platform of developing content for mobile users. Saturday night I pulled an all nighter...

    I'm Pumped for Shark Tank

    OFF-TOPIC
I would GIVE 51% of my company to Mr. Wonderful haha. It always suprises me when people walk away from a deal where one of the investors refuses to budge 5 or 10k. Obviously, none of them care about 5 or 10k, Kevin goes home and drinks a bottle of wine for that haha. I think it's a...

    The Value of Life

    MINDSET
It's always the best feeling when you wake up fully rested, but your mind was working all night long. You remember everything you dreamed about and every productive thought you had. It's like you had an extra 8 hours in your day to work out your ideas. If only there were 9 days in a week...

"'Shocking' That Startups Are IGNORING A $500b Market"

I was approached with this question from many that were critical of my decision to go with mobile games as my development choice. Mom: "Why not make accounting software?" Me: "Because a one man team is not going to catch up with 20 years of development to compete with Quickbooks."...

An alternative to Android and iOS

    WEB/DIGITAL
As an Android/iPhone developer, I don't think the "crowded" thing will be a factor. I haven't been able to prove this, I'm like one day in, but the majority of the apps out there are completely pointless or just a picture with some ads (at least on Android) haha. Android and iPhone can both...
