Professional Athletes can be fastlaners too, right?

    INTRO
I have a similar story... I was in very good shape and had an active lifestyle and work life. I ended up rupturing my L4-L5 in my back and wasn't able to walk very far for two years till I got surgery, and I still have problems to this day! So rather than make waste of that time, I taught...

Professional Athletes can be fastlaners too, right?

    INTRO
Welcome! It sounds like you have a wealth of information and experience yourself, I'm looking forward to learning more from you. Would you say that being a professional athlete has given you the work ethic and drive reflected on the business side?

    Linode.com server review

I'd actually be interested in this question myself... as I only really have experience with cPanel and raw hosting. I use FileZilla for data transfer, which is ten thousand times easier than cPanel's File Manager, and install phpMyAdmin so I can connect to the database from any computer if...

    Linode.com server review

GREAT question and you're entirely correct, but I'll give a rundown anyway. We'll use a SAAS app as an example. Let's say when you first start your service, you know the entire thing could be handled from their smallest server for $20 a month. Do it. Build your traffic to the point where you...

    Linode.com server review

:D Setting that up was really a lot easier than with AWS too. It was like butter. Gotcha. I really wish I could use Linux full time and ditch Windows 7, but I could never get three monitors to work with it. Can you use multiple monitors with the VM? I have VirtualBox for OSX use, but it's...

    Linode.com server review

It's fantastic. This sounds like Digital Ocean and Linode both are offering a better experience than AWS. Not only were AWS servers slow, but I had so many errors connecting and disconnecting virtual drives to servers and dealing with "incompatibility issues." Now I can do all of it on...

Honest feedback needed : Website layout

    WEB/DIGITAL
Very clear, direct, and easy to read. I had no problems figuring out what the site was about. Also, I think there's an appropriate amount of content on the home page. The startup theme of huge hero, minimal info, and explaining the product or service are great for products or services, this...

    Linode.com server review

GoDaddy, HostGator, BlueHost, DreamHost, Amazon Web Services, Rackspace, SingleHop, and a couple others. I was mostly hosted through Amazon Web Services for the majority of my transactional processing, but at least did extensive tests on the others or hosted small content sites with a MySQL...

    The better fastlane idea?

    IDEA
Not sure if there's a business here. You'll never be able to get instant booking, as the booking process is not just a "hey sign me up!" it's more of a several hour conversation about the event... but a directory of venues that contains all event information for dates and how to contact them...

    HostGator is Down.

    WEB/DIGITAL
It's wonderful! Their online documentation is incredible and their customer service support reps are very knowledgeable. I've had to sit in Hostgator's chat for a while as they pass me around to different people reading cue cards haha. It takes about 2-4 hours to setup your first Linode...

    HostGator is Down.

    WEB/DIGITAL
+1 for LiquidWeb, Rackspace can be pricey. I still am recommending the Linode servers for anyone brave enough to enter into the territory. Everything has to be setup from a command prompt, but you will not find a faster server for $20 a month!

    Learning Web programming vs. Apps?

Just checked it out, cool site. I'm still not onboard with the rest of the world in terms of "videos are better." Videos take 4 times as long to explain half the information, and are impossible to use for reference. For people starting out though, it's probably very helpful to watch it step...

How do you guys choose your penny stocks ?

    HOT! INVESTING
R.I.P. murk01's cash. Oh I've made a ton of money on them, but not researching them like normal stocks. If you try and play a penny using a chart, or fundies, or pretty much anything besides volume, rumor, and news, "you're gonna have a bad time." Oh and to actually be productive with this...

How do you guys choose your penny stocks ?

    HOT! INVESTING
We're a community, but a community that's focused on providing value through fulfilling needs. IMHO, trading penny stocks does none of this. It's a market filled with 100% money hungry "pigs" (trading term) of people unwilling to go the full 9 yards so they stop at penny stocks. Regardless, I...

    Got accepted into College

    HOT!
My mom worked at a medical company founded by a former doctor. He identified a need in the medical community. The device he created his company around has been used on me four times in my life. When his company sold, I believe he instantly became worth around $300 million. How much are you...
