    10 days Vipassana Meditation

    HEALTH
I aim for 20 minutes straight and 1 hour per day these days ( the hour can be divided in chunks), I think my record for longest period of time has been 45 minutes. Regarding what I do while meditating, I experiment with different musics/guided meditations (I used Insight Timer app) with some...

How I started meeting people, making friends quickly, and improved my dating life as a entrepreneur

    MEETUPS
The biggest takeaway from your post is to offer value first and then people will naturally associate with you, whether that means throwing a party, offering to teach a skill or just being proactive towards social events. Probably 1-2% of people are the starters and the rest they wait for that...

    10 days Vipassana Meditation

    HEALTH
I actually meditate everyday since 2015, I just heard the experience of doing it for 10 days straight might bring some extra benefits. I actually meditate since 2015 and I have read many books about mindfulness ( from Zen masters to neuroscientist from Oxford), but it might be true that those...

Number 1 challenge as an expat

    PEOPLE
I was talking more about virtue friends, those kind of friendships that are for the long term and want the best for you. In terms of chicks, is a whole diferent story lol although some people try to replace the community feeling of their hometowns by dating a lot of girls (a friend is...

This is so simple yet powerful. I was talking the same thing with my dad about compliments and showing some affections when people deserve it.

    Recruitment agency

    MARKETING
    1. Find main weaknesses of competitors in your area and bet on doing those things better. The how will not come easy but you can ask friends in companies to name you the big problems they have had with recruitment agencies in the past. A common weakness in my opinion is not aligning the business...

Don't quit your day job yet!

It can also backfire because knowing you have the job does not give you the urgency to act compared to a situation where taking action on your business is the only way to pay the monthly rent once you are out of your job. I believe a good idea is to always have a second way of making an income...

Cool I have heard Balneario Camboriu is amazing, what are you doing there? Are you Brasilian? I like your idea because you are proactive and a dinner can lead to interesting conversations/mingling time. What I normally do if I go to a new place is to check the meetups and people on CS that seem...

This is interesting because in all my expats experience I have targeted making connections with the locals but it seems again and again unless that local is someone from the opposite sex, it rarely happens. Btw how is life in Belarus?

For those doing the challenge, I cannot recommend highly enough to try meditation, it will help you stick with your plans and improve concentration in those rainy days where things seem to be more difficult.

What are the struggles you are experiencing as of today? Lets discuss!

Enough time to sit down and think or just stay quiet. These days I am trying to do many things and is giving me little time to relax/reflect.

I 100% agree with you and apart from some random occasions I normally do not drink, so in terms of alcohol consumption on this group probably we do not have many people struggling with consumption or alcoholism.
