Who here has quit social media?

    HOT! MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
I hardly use Facebook or Instagram these days. Once in a while, I swoop in on competitors' FB Ads Library to read ad copy, but other than that...nothing much. These days I stick to email and Telegram groups. I still have WhatsApp, but I only use it for personal stuffs. Telegram is...

Fed Up With Your Country? Where Is Left to Go?

Which is why I prefer the Chinese vaccines...they follow the traditional inactivated virus methodology. No spike proteins. Of course though, some folks argue that the virus in such vaccines might be too dead to activate the antibodies...so the immunity wouldn't last long for the Chinese...

Today my mum asked me to help clean the house. Although it was FIVE days after we did an entire spring-clean, I begrudgingly went to do it. Was using the cordless vacuum cleaner at the top floor. I pushed the vacuum at a chair hurriedly, and the connector at the dust compartment broke apart...

Really disappointed with the shitty attitude of Malaysian folks when they comment on our athletes in the Olympics. We are supposed to cheer them on...but WTF do we have here? When our female badminton player Goh Liu Ying lost, folks were asking her to retire to start a family. When our top...

Where to start with investing in stocks ?

    INVESTING
No. They actually shut down folks from buying meme stocks in the Gamestop craze, and actually had to get a billion-dollar bailout to save their liquidity. Go for TDAmeritrade or some local bank (if you are non-American, see what major banks in your country offer. Some local banks are better...

I'm not a fan of vaccines, but even sometimes the 'alternative party' raises my ire. The anti-vaxx side of my family started sharing this bit of an interview with Noble Laureate Luc Montagnier, who claimed the vaccines are causing variants of COVID...

You must have gone to all the wrong food places lol. Where did you go? Chicken is a major meat indeed, but we do have squid (nasi kandar), ikan bakar (grilled fish) and even pork (almost a staple in the non-halal areas- got bak kut teh, dim sum, or a classical siew yoke roast...) As for coffee...

Welp, Malaysia hit 11,000 COVID cases, after months of lockdowns and martial law. Didn't George Gilder already point out that keeping folks in one space for too long actually makes infection so much easier??? And why blanket lockdowns are F*cking brainless?! What disappoints me more if that...

    Need help for stock images

    MARKETING
Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash I have found royalty-free images and videos from YouTube and Facebook before, from accounts that declare themselves royalty-free. But they are more niched (eg they only provide media for a specific topic only) Just key in 'royalty-free images' into YT and FB, and see...

Fed Up With Your Country? Where Is Left to Go?

Honestly, people who are ACTUALLY sick of the government will do what they can to either leave or overthrow it. But from what we've seen in America, that won't be the case. One side of me craves a civil war to break out to 'reset' the entire paradigm. But the other side of me tries to look for...

Reminds me on one of the few things to be thankful about my own country Malaysia, despite my complaints: Last year, when the government was getting torn apart by backdoor F*ckers jumping ship, the Agong (our king) went to interview every political party to get their views. With the reporters...

If one is only in the country just to enjoy the physical stuff like lower living costs, subsidies for utility bills, lower petrol costs (compared to the West), food (yeah...), then Malaysia is a haven. But if you have been born here and stayed much longer, more inner problems show up. You have...

I worry about this as well. But leave to go where? Before the worst of this pandemic came about, Asians (especially my country) were all about gathering enough degrees or cash to run away to the West (EU, USA, Australia) While the Westerner folks are all about dropping in on China, Southeast...

OK, managed to get through after removing ONE extra number from my phone number...o_O Now I'll just have to get out my personal documents, sign them manually as instructed, and scan them back to submit. For my part, it specifically mentions 'low disk space'. I do have 'your iCloud storage is low' reminders now and then, but they only matter if you want to keep backing up. I currently use iExplorer as a third-party data backup, but I don't plug in often.

This is probably the third time in a row I'm complaining about my own country. (from a usually so-so guy) Today we are supposed to transition to partial lockdowns, but recent government plans said we can only do that IF cases go below 4000 daily. How do you even get to below 4000 cases??? Even...
