    Thanks for having me!

    INTRO
Everything feels like an action fake. I realized I need to add to my technology stack if I want to accomplish my goal. I'm able to put up a web server displaying simple pages in only a few minutes now. Off to learn JS...

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
Have you noticed falling data storage prices? I think we've gotten so good at data transmission and distributed consensus, that I'm shocked at the existence of data centers. I read that whole thing as NASA like 3 times before I re-oriented myself to your post. Based on what I've seen first- and...

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
No this is probably true. Have you heard the term deep learning? Well, it's 175 billion parameters deep, I guess. The model is probably mostly a recurrent neural network. Think of it like a pachinko machine. You drop in a coin and the pins bounce it around until it falls in a particular spot...

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
Something I forgot to mention: while the bot wouldn't compute 2 + 2, it would explain HOW to compute 2 + 2. In the explanation it did actually return the sum of 4. After that, I queried it repeatedly as to why it could not compute 2 + 2, but could return an explanation with the correct sum. It...

    Businesses for 2023

    IDEA
Why stop at millions? You should ask how to make trillions.

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

    - AI -
The bot is very up front about all of this when you interact. You really want to verify any factual information. For instance, I asked it "What's 2 + 2?" and it would not give me an answer. It repeats a little spiel about being a large language model bla bla bla bla. If you understand anything...

    Thanks for having me!

    INTRO
I've been 'learning to code' for a long time. My first java class was in 2004. I got to level 4 of the Google Fubar challenge a year or so ago. Since Monday, I've gotten more work done on my web application than I ever have in any other attempt. Having 'action faking' in my vocabulary helped me...

ChatGPT AI is a huge breakthrough, a Google killer

You're probably correct about this, but it's not being fed current data at the moment according to the bot itself. So this would be a long game. It's essentially just SEO, though. Not earth shattering. To me, the interesting part about this is how natural the language is.

Serious thanks for posting that. I was wondering if I could run it locally. Have you experimented with Dalle? I'm curious if I would need a bunch of GPUs to run it or if the model is even on GitHub.

This is a thing in machine learning. You make one model that generates (like ChatGPT) and another model that attempts to discern whether or not the output was machine generated or not. Then you pit them against one another. It's called a generative adversarial neural network. Super cool.

I must not have proofread that last one. Since the holiday, I have taken some rest. I went on a long road trip by myself to visit family. I put some clothes and hygiene stuff into luggage and started driving. In that time, I listened to a bunch of audio books. I relistened to Unscripted again...

    Thanks for having me!

    INTRO
Hello, all! I've listened to the audiobooks (many times) including Wealth Exposed. This has helped me realize that my current business efforts are, while a good start, not optimized for creating a real business that can be exited. I have been a freelance mathematics tutor full-time since the...

I've Read The Great Rat-Race Escape!

    GOLD! HOT!
This was the second book that I read out of the series. Thankfully, it stands on it's own and I didn't need to read Unscripted beforehand. The soup parable wasn't similar enough to my current business to be a how-to, but the family's story was relatable. It really helped me to imagine avenues...

    I've Read UNSCRIPTED!

    GOLD! HOT!
I listened to the audiobook. I listened to TGRRE first so much of it was refresher for me. The frameworks from Unscripted are helping me recognize mistakes I'm making in my 'business.' In reality, it's a freelance job I've created for myself. That is serving to free up my time considerably so...

    I've Read The Millionaire Fastlane!

    GOLD! HOT!
Technically, I listened to the book, but I've listened to it enough times that Audible keeps giving me badges.
