Lex DeVille's - Journey To Doctor
HOT! EXECUTIONHonestly was expecting you to burst out of school to run back to 'eat what you hunt' mode with Upwork and other digital biz ventures, while cursing all of academia lol. (I would) But I'm glad you made it this far. As much as school sucks, can't deny that its systems of checks & balances, with...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATWow...is it me, or has ChatGPT's speed went into the gutter? I use ChatGPT for some quick content ideas or editing quite often now. And to see what should be the century's craze choke and sputter to even answer some simple queries that used to get lightning-speed answers in seconds...gets me...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATTry Indriver...another competing ride app I have been using more and more of. While rides on Indriver aren't as readily available as Grab (but catching up), the fees are more reasonable as you can tweak them and drivers bid for them.- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATMore nicer food too...which might convince some vegans to relax their diets awhile:hilarious: I felt everyone kept cleaner ever since the pandemic and its spray-and-pray practices. As for safe...I have a lot to say about road traffic lol, as well as the lack of walkable routes to connect me...- ZF Lee

Quarter life crisis and a broken sat nav
HOT! RANTWow...a lot you have shared. I actually think if you want to try something new, sure. There's no rules that says you can't try stuff. Still, it's a lot easier to capitalise on your current strengths. It does take MORE time to try to conquer new stuffs, and you are at a stage where you need...- ZF Lee

What do you think about Personal MBA book?
BOOKSWell...TMF and UNSCRIPTED upon which this very Forum is based on?:hilarious: But honestly, read up works from people in the industry you are interested in. That might be more relevant for the challenges you may face. For example, I do copywriting...so I started with basics like...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATI bought Tradingview's 30% off for its Essential Plan. I didn't take the whooping 70% off for Premium package as I rarely use THAT many trading indicators (if you have 10-20 indicators staring back at you, something IS wrong), charts or features. I also don't write trading scripts or publish too.- ZF Lee

Quarter life crisis and a broken sat nav
HOT! RANTHi @bmalc, really appreciate you sharing your story. I come from a split family myself, and seen not a few relatives pass away from bad health and life choices...these things just make one never the same again. But good to have you coming back to the game- as long you got breath in your lungs...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATThanks Kak. I have already moved out, but I and the parents still visit each other now and then. I'm trying to take more of the initiative now to check up on them...which isn't always easy with work and all.- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATYes, admittedly so. Still, it may be better to spring into action earlier, rather than get the doctor's diagnosis later that you have something alien growing in your gut. My family (especially the male figures) have a history of F*cking up their health with greasy foods and smoking until they...- ZF Lee

EXECUTIONToo much to update...somehow still working in freelance copy. Had a Singaporean client ask me if I wanna charge a commissions instead of a retainer for some email work. That means for every paid lead they won from the email, I get a cut. I had never done a commissions payment model before...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATSometimes you may think what you are currently working on is good...until it isn't. Few weeks ago, I got hit by acid reflux right during my grandma's birthday dinner. [PROGRESS THREAD] (24 y/o) Sick and cognitively impaired for 2 years... Doing the work anyway
HOT! EXECUTIONThanks for sharing your progress this far...it is heartening to see that you didn't let a health condition take you down. Even though I don't have any chronic conditions myself, I started to realise how limited my energy and health are. No longer can I just live hunky-dory and let things slip...- ZF Lee

Breaking free from society mindset
INTROWelcome to the Forum. Yes, it's 'low risk' because you just need to follow the steps set by the business owner or system. Of course not every boss is great, and not every job forces you to be a true machine cog (eg in sales). And jobs are most often the FIRST time people ever learn of the real...- ZF Lee

HOT! CHATTime to do some list-cleaning and boot out the folks who don't obey house rules? More folks will end up at religious institutions too when they get hit for real. Hi everyone my name is Tim.
INTROWelcome to the Forum, Tim! When any business starts from the ground up, you can't exactly call it 'Fastlane' or 'Slowlane' because you have zero customers, product or profit to begin with. What you CAN plan for is how you can solve the challenges that come up, and work on systems to help ease...- ZF Lee
