The Undercover Billionaire: Building a $1m business in 90 days

    HOT! MINDSET
Fascinating post. Although I've never met him, Marcus on "The Profit" TV show is my modern-day business hero. The difference here is that he transforms a business in ONE episode. I have no patience for filler in shows, so a series is out of the question for me. I watch several episodes at...

What sort of an internet business would you do if you had $50,000 to start with?

    HOT!
I did some inital research on this, a lot of the time the customers who complained the most were unwilling to buy premium support or the extended warranty. So why would they pay anyone else to do it? Customer support. That's what I'm talking about. Pick a dozen products on Amazon and read...

What sort of an internet business would you do if you had $50,000 to start with?

    HOT!
Based on my own wretched experience with support lines for products - that don't know squat... I'd provide email and phone support for manufacturers. This is one line of work that is done so poorly that they should burn it to the ground and start over. I call for support, and the conversation...

What I Learned Operating A Commercial Cleaning Company

    EXECUTION
Loved every word of your post. If anyone truly loves business and is not afraid to do every little detail, your post is textbook material. I can't help but think that if it were me instead of you, I would have opened branch offices and expanded to the hilt. Why did you sell the goose that...

Man's Search for Meaning, by Viktor Frankl

    HOT!
This synopsis is so so so damn good that I am going far above just liking it (I actually put love on it). I'm printing this out and including it in the books that I will buy and gift. I have not read the book yet - but I will. And I know a few people that need this book and it will change...

A Mass of Mass Shootings... Guns? Or Mental Illness?

    OFF-TOPIC
Neil deGrasse Tyson apologized this morning following a tweet Sunday deemed “insensitive” about the weekend mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton that sparked a fierce reaction on social media, but not everyone is accepting his apology... Tyson’s apology sparked nearly as much criticism as the...

Just found this on my Facebook thread. 5 great speeches that so many here will benefit from. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1PcSpoRXPw&fbclid=IwAR1UtakiQkoFPcBUUN4oHrqpYcGxGare4SMCjCbiiMkt02ZBVksMAE4IExQ

A Mass of Mass Shootings... Guns? Or Mental Illness?

    OFF-TOPIC
I don't support hypocrisy, even if it's done by whites. I don't support white supremacy ideology, even if it's done by whites. I'll give up my guns when they pry them from my cold dead hands. I don't support blacks getting away with something by using the race card. I sure don't support Muslims...

A Mass of Mass Shootings... Guns? Or Mental Illness?

    OFF-TOPIC
As a result, Detroit has the second highest murder rate in the nation and is considered by many to be the most dangerous city in which to live in the United States. Simply put, gun control, as a means of controlling crime and protecting law abiding citizens, is a dismal failure. The reason is...

How to deal with unpaid invoices?

    NOTABLE! PEOPLE
I read on one of your posts Johnny that you're 22. Amazing. How did you get so on top of things? You're far ahead of the curve, but I know you know that, so just sayin... I work with consumers directly doing legal work. I made it clear from the beginning that the consumer pays me the day I...

This reply is for the snowflakes out there - you know who are - that are not mature enough to face and deal with life. Man up and face things. Sure, things are not going to go your way all the time. Sure, you will make mistakes. Sure, you're going to discover weaknesses that you could work...

The road to wealth is simple: Drive a crappy car

    HOT! INVESTING
Should have been more clear. Sarcasm. The second couple took action, and over the long run were wildly more successful than the penny pinchers that watch how every dime is spent. And CERTAINLY happier! I am a great admirer of Warren, so I like your quote! Here's one that I live by that you...

The road to wealth is simple: Drive a crappy car

    HOT! INVESTING
It's nice if you can not have a payment, and not have it drain your reserves. But. I live at the other end of the spectrum. I try to draw things out to have as little effect on me as possible. I try to keep my options open as much as possible. No restraints to bind me - and as much cash...

    Best "Template-Based" Website Builder?

    MARKETING
Well, there sure is a lot of information in this thread. Very good info too. To answer your question, they are killing it because they are providing something of great value. A great website is not going to be able to kill the market if the product or service is crap. A website is a very...

As for your links to the two sample sites. They both suck. The first one is way too irritating. And way too much to read. It screams unprofessional. The second one is just stupid. I identify this as being done by a millennial (Sorry for the dig to millennials - not all of them are brain...

    Best "Template-Based" Website Builder?

    MARKETING
When I see something I like, I clip it so I can use it in my website. The example below is exciting and interesting. I will use it. BUT I will greatly improve on it because I will have the elements slide in from the side. I like this design a lot. Making a design that people like a LOT is...

    Best "Template-Based" Website Builder?

    MARKETING
Yes, but creating the pieces and the text to generate business is the tricky part. I have redesigned one of my websites more than six times (I lost count) and I think I can finally say that I'm happy with it. I could add a few more elements, but that's not my goal. My goal is to immediately...

That's right. I've made 3 websites with Divi. However - and this is a BIG however... it's like playing the piano or speaking Spanish. Sure it's easy - any 7-year-old can do it - once they know how. It took me a few months and a lot of trial and error to become fluent enough to make...

Rapid Scaling a business by franchising

Oh come on now - how bad can it be? Subway decides the price of swiss cheese is too high and does not offer it (True example - I used to get it, but then it was discontinued)? A few examples of bad examples would be most interesting - and they don't have to even be real events. Theory is...
