Effective Mindset for Entrepreneurs with Full Time Jobs

    MINDSET
Great thread, thank you. Like you, I find myself in this conundrum. For the third time in my post Navy life, I am an executive at a big company...and hate it. In between each was a failed attempt, or attempts, to break out. Once again, I find myself using a slow lane job to pay the bills...

    When to Pivot?

    EXECUTION
From this I take it you have not invested in the printer itself? I'm a big fan of learning. But this forum has many stories of those who let "learning" become an action fake. Doc Brown has a good idea and I look forward to seeing his example. In the mean time, I'd ask myself if I really need...

    INTRO
You've a lot going on, so don't be too hard on yourself. I just finished reading the complete thread. Wow and Wow. I know more than a few parents that wouldn't even dream of taking on the world the way you have and they don't have nearly the challenges you're dealing with. Hang in there and...

    Is CENTS Destructive to Action?

    GOLD! MINDSET
Thank you MJ - an important thread. I believe you even said in your book(s) you don't need all the CENTS elements to get started.

What are people NOT talking about anymore?

I would add that authority marketing can be dangerous in the wrong hands...or from the wrong mouth.

Is this a good USP (unique selling proposition)?

You've identified a need - that's the first step. You're correct, there is a lot of confusing and conflicting information surrounding eco-friendly products. A lot of that is caused by money chasers simply jumping on the bandwagon without real concern for the environment. "Here's my plastic...

Old School Tips ~ How Times Change

    OFF-TOPIC
A mix of brain washing and social conscience. Just like get a degree, work hard, save 10% and invest in the stock market. Can you just imagine a black and white, counter culture, movie by MJ...complete with campy sound track.

    Online smokeshop. Yes or no?

One person's dead end is another's highway...only you can decide the journey. (I'm sure somebody famous must have said something like that but I can't remember who). Not being a stoner, I may be way off here. But would a value add be to provide locations and reviews on pot shops? Kind of a...

Welcome and thank you for sharing. As MJ rightly points out, there's no shortage of money out there - just time. Screwing up and making mistakes is part of life. Sounds like you're trying to learn and grow from them. This is a great crowd and many valuable lessons to be had if you read and...

I Hate the Idea of Being Equal!

    HOT! IDEA
I thank God none of us is equal and routinely get in trouble with the PC crowd and HR. All this equality crap is sickening. We should embrace our differences and use those wider range of strengths to raise us even further. No wonder Atlas Shrugged.
