    Buy a fast lane?

The "and his son" part caught my eye. Be very careful with this relationship. A friend of mine spent five years helping a guy rebuild his business with the agreement that the guy would retire and sell the biz to my friend over time. Unfortunately for my friend, when the son saw the biz taking...

Dealing with porn and other addictions

    HOT! MINDSET
A very interesting thread, thank you. I applaud your courage for sharing what many would consider a very sensitive subject. In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill has a chapter on what he calls sex transmutation. He talks about how most successful people are also highly sexed people that...

    FTE INTRO
Thank you for sharing HG123. Man, rough going. Hang in there. It might be worth a reread of TMF or UNSCRIPTED to help get your juices flowing again. I listen to one or the other at least once a month and always seem to pick up on something I missed - no matter how many times I reread/listen...

    Biggest decision of my life

    PEOPLE
If you let your mother pay for it, it will no longer be the powerful fuel it once was. Earn that money yourself. Or take a job that sends you to another place. Or...? use your imagination and find a way. But I don't think letting your mother pay is the answer.

    How to detect deceitful people

    HOT!
Maybe I've missed it, but many of the points discussed in this thread are covered in the book, Influence, that some of us have been reading. Throughout the thread, people have brought up situations that could have been lifted right out of the book. If you haven't read it yet, I highly...

Have you considered doing this for the pet industry? Many dogs - I'm not a cat person - are sensitive to shampoos.

If you take the money from your mother - allow her to pay for the trip - you will owe her. Is that what you want?

    How to detect deceitful people

    HOT!
This is great! I frequently watch potential business relationships at restaurants or other reaction inducing situations. People tend to react true to their nature because they don't have time to think about how they should act. The dining experience also lets you see how a person acts towards...

    Freelance Employees vs. Freelance Entrepreneurs

    SIDE HUSTLE
great post - rep xfr. This is such an important distinction, very pleased to see it addressed in the open. I've had this discussion with some of the "contractors" that work for the company currently paying my bills. On the one hand they tell me they don't want to be owned by anyone. But...

    The "Half Baked" Ideas Thread

    HOT! IDEA
Interesting idea - I'll put some grey cells on it. I agree that carrying around one's own straw is a pain and most guys wouldn't have a place to carry one. I suspect most women don't like putting a wet, drippy thing back in their purse.

    The "Half Baked" Ideas Thread

    HOT! IDEA
I've had a couple friends in the same situation. And my sibs and I are preparing for that with our parents. Mom passed away a year ago and while dad is still going strong, we know time is not on his side. We're trying to get a head start and dad is cooperating. One potential challenge is...

    The "Half Baked" Ideas Thread

    HOT! IDEA
MJ - this one is near and dear to me. I've loved the oceans and its creatures for most of my life. I've been what I call a practical environmentalist for many years. I say practical because I realized that the only way a company will survive in an environmental related activity is to work and...

Welcome to the forum Dieriba. Rough start, but don't loose faith in yourself or the future you will make. I recommend you stop trying to chase money and spend some time searching for needs that need to satisfied. Satisfy needs and the money will come.

    Audiobooks - Reclaiming your time

    NOTABLE!
I've started using Audible for my first read. If it seems like a book I want to reference later, I'll buy a hard copy. I'd never get through my reading list without being able to listen to them instead of just reading them.
