HOT! PEOPLEAn interesting thread with many twists on the concept of friendships and relationships. I believe this is a deeply personal issue with vastly different meanings and outcomes for each person. Each of us must learn to find satisfaction in the life we lead - which may or may not involve other...- Ernman

100 Unsexy Business Ideas: Name as many as you can!
GOLD! IDEAFor any reading this thread and Kak's comment - I second his opinion. There's plenty of opportunity selling to the government. Is it any harder than selling to the public? Depends on what you call hard. I recently assisted a client making a specific product for a large defense firm. His...- Ernman

Been here since 2017, going from trucking to school
INTROSo what is your plan? Get a degree to earn more money? Doing what? I'm sorry but "gain high skills in tech and accelerate my path to FATFIRING" is still slow lane thinking. I sense there's more to you, so perhaps you're just having a hard time articulating where you want to go with this? I'm...- Ernman

100 Unsexy Business Ideas: Name as many as you can!
GOLD! IDEAIt's important that we recognize that consumers were the driving force leading to most production moving "overseas". Here in the US, consumers demanded lower prices but workers demanded higher wages. We also wanted safe places to work, clean water to drink and air to breath. The result was...- Ernman

100 Unsexy Business Ideas: Name as many as you can!
GOLD! IDEAFor the sake of argument, I'm going to disagree. There's nothing wrong with this niche, but there is a problem with how the old owner is doing it...which sounds like the same way he's always done it. For instance...imagine if he had invested in some 3D printers. Now clients can send him...- Ernman

Youtube Brand Execution/Intro/From Apathy/Depression to 4AM 10-12 Hours PASSION.
INTROTam - I'm going to follow this thread for a number of reasons. Like you I am using YouTube, albeit in a very different niche, as part of a grander plan. Unlike you, I am what they call "long in the tooth". I spent many years in the slow lane, always believing there was something else. TMF...- Ernman

HELP: I'm Young and I Have a Lot of Questions! Maple Syrup is the Answer
MINDSETIt's this kind of post that confirms why I returned to the forum. Seven months in the waste land, I needed reinforcement. This speaks volumes in what's NOT said. All the work that went into making this a success and all the work yet to be done. I'll bet if anyone asked, should I get into...- Ernman

HOT!@MoneyDoc - I don't disagree with you that we need to be thinking ahead. But please help me understand where you intended this comment to take us. Your lead in is telling us to pay attention to what's happening behind the scenes, but your ending says to think ahead. Please clarify.- Ernman

The Worldwide C0VlD-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Discussion Thread...
HOT!@RazorCut as the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. And we're still a long way from having any real hindsight on this virus. We're all trying to make the best decisions we can based on the information available at the time. As we learn something new, we adjust - at least that is what...- Ernman

HOT!LOL - I was playing around the other day with a battery operated 6 foot radius taser belt design along the lines of the old hoop dresses from days of old. recommended jobs for preparing for own business?
MINDSETI hate to say this, but..."it depends." I mean this in all sincerity. Some examples to clarify. If you dream of running a dirty job franchise empire, say in plumbing or carpentry, then good candidate jobs would be as an apprentice in those fields. Even better if you can get in with a small...- Ernman
