Ebola in the USA... Anyone Concerned?
HEALTHSeriously!? This has been widely debunked for years. It's complete bullshit. There is 0 correlation. If you aren't vaccinating your children, you are part of the problem- you allow these diseases to pop up again and perhaps mutate into more potent strains, infecting those of us who...- SBS.95

Oil Hits A Low Of 81.32!
INVESTINGJust checked gas station. Still $4.14. Granted that's premium. Regular was $3.87. Goddamnit rural Pennsylvania. I normally pay no attention to gas prices (the whole "go to this station to save $0.04 a gallon on 10 gallons of gas seems retarded to me.) But I'll start taking notice if it...- SBS.95

Thoughts on Cars (subtitle... why you should not buy a Lamborghini)
NOTABLE! MINDSETOh, they get much worse than that. A few weeks ago I read about a 16 year old kid who got his parents to cosign a loan for a 2003 BMW M3. This is a car that will cost approximately $1000-2000 a year just for repairs to keep it roadworthy. The loan- 8 years long- on a car that is 11 years old...- SBS.95

Thoughts on Cars (subtitle... why you should not buy a Lamborghini)
NOTABLE! MINDSETThese are the people I really don't get. I've never taken out a car loan or had monthly payments. But I imagine if I did, as soon as it was paid off I would be like "Hell yeah! No bloodsucking month-to-month payments, time to drive this thing into the ground for the next 15 years!" It just...- SBS.95

You Are Not Late - internet year 2044
WEB/DIGITALHow simple was registering domains in 1985? Do you think they just went to GoDaddy- oh wait, that didn't exist yet. They'll be saying the same things in 2044- but adding AI to something was so easy why didn't everyone just do that and get rich.- SBS.95

Thoughts on Cars (subtitle... why you should not buy a Lamborghini)
NOTABLE! MINDSETI think it comes down to why you are buying a car. I love cars. I could care less what anyone thinks about them, or the reputation they have. Some assclown on this forum once called me gay for having the username "Boxster" because it's a chick car. Don't care. What's stupid is buying cars...- SBS.95

A Hustler's Guide To Buying And Selling Anything (Part 1)
GOLD! SIDE HUSTLEYou have to be confident that what you have will sell. And for video games or electronics that isn't really a big deal because those types of items are always in high demand. Generally for video games I will go to Amazon and find the cheapest used price, let's say it's $30. So the maximum I...- SBS.95

What to do with a college fund with $15,000
My experience has not been that with the professors, though your situation sounds pretty good. All of mine are into the corporate ladder bullshit, and I'm an entrepreneurship minor (which by the way is the biggest joke ever.) The best are the ones that start the semester with "Okay, let's talk...- SBS.95

What to do with a college fund with $15,000
http://www.amazon.com/dp/1595552790/?tag=tff-amazonparser-20 Great book. It seems like a lot of times people will say "Everyone should skip college and do X instead" or "Everyone should go to college". I think both are wrong. The book basically goes into details about where college makes...- SBS.95

A Hustler's Guide To Buying And Selling Anything (Part 1)
GOLD! SIDE HUSTLEPersonally I'm not a big fan of lowballing people on the spot. Just because I've had people do it to me, and I find it to be annoying and a waste of time. I like to make sure I'm getting a good deal before I take 1 foot outside the house. No point in wasting my time/money/gas going someplace...- SBS.95

Why I Chose to Go to College
RANTNobody here really knocks college as a blanket statement. It's just that it's not necessary for many businesses. For instance, most people here are interested in online companies. There's no need to go to college to learn web design. Either pay someone to do it for you, or learn it yourself...- SBS.95

Sharing my lifetime experience in export/import. Product sourcing specialist.
GOLD! SOURCINGGlad you decided to do this thread. My questions are: 1. What types of items should absolutely be avoided? I know Will Mitchell over at Startup Bros says anything technically complex should be avoided, but there's obviously more to it. I recently got one of my sample products, a unique piece...- SBS.95

A Hustler's Guide To Buying And Selling Anything (Part 1)
GOLD! SIDE HUSTLEYou need to just experiment yourself to find the answers to these questions. I've been doing this for my full time income for almost a year now, and I've been hustling since reading this thread 2 years ago. Trust me, if I can make easy money doing this, anybody can. @RichKid has provided more...- SBS.95

7 Things to Do if You Don’t Want to Be a Millionaire
GOLD! MINDSETMeal prep is something I need to start doing. The eating junk food hit home with me. I spend a lot of time out of the house and often find myself grabbing a hoagie just for convenience sake. Also if anyone's interested in seeing a bunch of people lying to themselves about what's healthy, pick...- SBS.95

Why newbies should avoid Alibaba, DHGate, Tradekey, Aliexpress, madeinchina.com, EC21, TTNet.net,
HOT!I did read through this entire thread. Look man I'm not trying to be a dick, but I'm like exactly your market for this book (just getting into importing with a reasonable amount of startup cash.) And you're not selling me. I didn't post because I doubted your abilities. Instead, I am merely...- SBS.95

Why newbies should avoid Alibaba, DHGate, Tradekey, Aliexpress, madeinchina.com, EC21, TTNet.net,
HOT!I'm a "newbie" and have been importing with Alibaba manufacturers. Haven't had any problems yet. We're talking about dealing with overseas Asian countries where the culture is completely different. I highly doubt you have a secret ebook method that is 100% scam-proof, and even if you did, I...- SBS.95

Why do so many people think advertising is evil?
MARKETINGA lot of people don't realize that most good advertising is the stuff you don't realize is happening. It's all subliminal and built up over time. My favorite are the people that say "advertising doesn't work on me". Bullshit. Advertising works on everyone. Some people are more skeptical...- SBS.95

Why High School Is Useless
So I've already posted giving my thoughts, and think he should stay in school. That being said, I do disagree with it whenever people say "High school is the best years of your life, enjoy it while you can." I don't know if that's what you meant from your post, but regardless it's something I...- SBS.95

Why High School Is Useless
If you find high school to be draining then just wait until your business is really asking for all of your attention. There are people on this forum that built their business on the side while in college, or while working a 9-5 (in some cases add a wife and kids to this equation.) If you think...- SBS.95
