I talked to Mark Cuban and so can you

    OFF-TOPIC
Don't expect to have any "conversations" with him. I'm sure he is getting flooded and I am curious as to how he even finds time to reply. Ask short and concise questions about anything. Just do not pitch him or screenshot. The app is similar to snap chat. But anything sent is never stored on a...

Can Real Estate Investing Really Lead to the Good Life?

    REAL ESTATE
Go to local REIA meetings. A lot of potential mentors there who can help set you on the right path.

I talked to Mark Cuban and so can you

    OFF-TOPIC
Not sure how many of you know about this or not. I think it is pretty cool. Download Mark Cuban's Cyberdust app. I like the concept of the app and I am a big fan of Mark Cuban. You are able to message Mr. Cuban personally (no pitches or screenshots are allowed) I've had the app a while and...

    Meet up in Texas

    MEETUPS
Probably sometime in July. I want to see how much interest the meet up gets. Then we can find a spot convenient for everyone. If most of you are in DFW I have no problem driving there.

    MEETUPS
Yesterday I saw a thread about a meet up. If anyone in Texas would be interested in a meet up I would like to get one started. Thanks

    Mobile Home Investing

    REAL ESTATE
Wholesale is a good option. Just depends on your ability to execute. I used to dabble in real estate. I prefer to avoid it. Lots of bullshit that goes into it and you have to constantly copy it. IMO it is too hard to seperate your time from it. There are other ways out there for a young guy...

    Mobile Home Investing

    REAL ESTATE
I worked with someone in the past who did mobile home investing. Used the tenant down payment to get his investment back. Then collected $500/monthly I believe. Also had issues with it as well though. Look at who it's typically rented to. He also had to deal with shitty contractors.

I never miss any bill payments. My thoughts exactly though. The loan I am approved for is $11k. Not planning on even using the full amount. The car payments do not bother me. The insurance is deadly. Even for a crappy car. The day was not wasted though. I got a good laugh watching salesman...

I'd say I put out a good bit of information about what I'm doing. Here is exactly what I am doing based on what happened today. Working for a competitor and learning the industry more. While networking/learning from the GM who has more experience than me. Selling high end leads (that I do not...

I appreciate the kind words. I genuinely hope my posts motivate you and you accomplish your goals. I do not believe in luck per say. I think its just sticking with one thing. Hustling. And keeping an eye out for opportunity. I think if you do those things you create luck. Today was a product of...

@The-J The business is and was successful. The car and employee situation is what is preventing me from going on. While trying to solve that issue I found another opportunity to make more. I would not have spent thousands of dollars structuring the business. Obtaining multiple registrations...

Wanted to give another update concerning the car situation I am considering financing a truck. As much as I cringe at the thought. I've already been approved for a loan by my bank. (USAA is a great bank. I love them so much. Will never use a different bank) I need to get around for my business...

Growing my business - Marketing, Thinking Big, and SCALE

    MARKETING
Let me put it this way In my local area it would cost me $1,000 per month for a professional looking website with professional SEO. That would be a 1-3 top spot. That would still take a few months to generate a good lead flow. To be fair that is a premium service. But even so. At £65 a month...

Growing my business - Marketing, Thinking Big, and SCALE

    MARKETING
Did you design the website yourself or hire someone to do it? I'm also in a service industry so I see your issues. In my opinion you're a commodity business. As am I. It's especially important that you set yourself apart from the other contractors in your area. Have good a$$ customer...

Sorry I did not see the rest of your post. I have school in the fall. But I am most likely not going to go. Just depends on how the business does the next few months. The passive income was assuming I started school (due to military educational benefits) I usually only train one weekend a...
