I am confused about ebay fees

I think Ebay collects their dues once a month. I was confused about this too until they suddenly deducted around $100 from my account for multiple sales. Check this link: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/pay-fees.html

I would recommend the app Swift for speed-listening. It costs $4 in the app store and can really save you some time. You can listen to it at ANY speed up to 3x (2.25x works like a charm when the reader has a slow voice), and you can also bookmark and make notes in the app. I have been reading...

    SEO Outsourcing?

I recommend you to invest some time and money in teaching yourself how SEO works. Try it out for a while and gain some experience. When you know the basics, then it will be easier for you to oursource and find people that know what they are doing. This applies to most outsourcable tasks.

    Good economics/finance books?

It all comes down to this, @twdavis . How experienced are you in these fields and what exactly are you trying to dig deeper into? I would recommend Naked Economics from Charles Wheelan. He does an excelent job in making "dry" material seem interesting and funny. It is a bit basic in some...

Why do people act like the goal isn't to make money?

    HOT!
Like people have mentioned before me, money is a goal, but not the end goal. Having tons of money does not interest me. Having enough to live a comfortable life where I have a lot of time to spend with my family, on hobbies, traveling etc is my REAL GOAL, and money buys all that. I believe most...

    Making $5K a month by August 2015

    EXECUTION
We did a test run by ordering items from China about 2 months ago. 1/3 of the stuff we ordered was slightly acceptable. The rest was just junk that went straight to the garbage. There really is SO many suppliers out there... I think the only way to go is to do private label and just take your...

    Making $5K a month by August 2015

    EXECUTION
This is how I see it: Sleep 7-8 hours. A day job to pay the bills would mean 8 hours of work. Commute, getting ready etc. would maybe take an hour. Cook, clean and regular house chores could add up to an hour. I will also study part-time in the upcoming semester where I have to go to school...

    Making $5K a month by August 2015

    EXECUTION
@MajeStyle: I share your concerns about stress and bankroll. Stress and the emotional swings were two of the reasons that I quit about a year ago (along with diminishing returns). But, I have played professionally for 5 years so I know how to cope with stress and feelings when less experienced...

    Making $5K a month by August 2015

    EXECUTION
Couldn't agree more with your post. The reluctance to eBay is my mistake, but I have finally realized that we need to use other channels to sell while we are building our brand and driving traffic to our store, which can take time. Hopefully I have been able to list at least a few products today...

Hey Lee, thanks for your post! Very interesting that you all seem to mean that we are spending too much. The thought really never crossed my mind since I thought we were already spending quite little, but I guess we will have to sit down and re-evaluate our spending. The thing is that we just...

Great post! Sometimes it feels like hanging out on this forum is like attending those private island gatherings with Tim Ferriss and other successful entrepreneurs. The spirit is great, and there are so many inspiring posts and value bombs dropped in every thread. I think spending more time on...
