Working from home - do you have a designated room for working?

I have an office in my house and a sweet desk setup. I do the majority of business in there. When I do online courses and stuff that isnt business I sometimes do it in the living room and kitchen. I'm 100x more productive in the office because it's less distracting.

    Cultivating Desire

    MINDSET
Today I had that burning desire to get what I want. I could have worked 1000 hours. Unfortunately I could not. I only had a few hours to work before I had other obligations to attend to. That's the thing. Time is limited and motivation comes and goes. I haven't quite figured out how to hold...

Doing the Andy Frisella "75 Hard" Challenge

    HOT! MINDSET
Holy smokes I almost done f*cked up. There I was tossing and turning in bed. 10pm on a Thursday. Just finished my reading and trying to get to sleep. It's been 10 minutes and I can't get comfortable. That's when I remembered I didn't drink my last few sips of water! I went out to the kitchen...

Does anyone here sell to Construction Companies through cold email?

What part of the construction industry? It's a large industry with various types of companies. Are you going after local residential or large commercial? Somewhere in between? I know a fair amount about this industry and it's tough. The smaller companies have owners that are in the field a...

Did It: Zero to $12k a Month (Now $75K) While Traveling the World

    GOLD! EXECUTION
The lifestyle I've enjoyed over the last few years is based on having few obligations and no liabilities. Nobody was relying on me for support so I could effectively disappear for a year and nobody would suffer. I also had very little debt. I actually coasted around a 0 bottom line for a year...

Tin Foil Hat Time: Are Aliens Here?

    HOT! CHAT
That's not what I said. The book is about how to make the transition from a war-driven society to a peaceful one meaning no major wars. This would happen if there was only one government. Who you gonna war with? The premise is that there needs to be a reason the government authority is needed...

Tin Foil Hat Time: Are Aliens Here?

    HOT! CHAT
The conspiracy theorist in my thinks it's not only possible that aliens exist and are visiting earth, but that it's also possible that they're not and it's just another way to control the masses. I read The Report From Iron Mountain when I was in college. Even though it's considered a hoax...

The Value Pyramid - A Hierarchy of Consumer Values

Hey everyone. I've been down this path for over two years now and I still struggle sometimes when it comes to focusing on value. This morning I decided to do something about it and did a deep dive. I started with Unscripted and used the index to find the mentions of value. The content in that...

Do you always stick to plan?

    MINDSET
Interesting and true. That isn't the case in my situation. Ive been describing this phenomenon for a few days trying to narrow down what I'm struggling with. Then found a match for my written words perfectly in the explaination of this personality type. I think accuracy of a personality test...

Do you always stick to plan?

    MINDSET
I understand what you're saying. It's important to seek feedback and be flexible. I'm great at that. The part I struggle with is following a process or procedure. I design processes bases on evidence from past experience but my brain hates to follow those rules and always wants to find a new...

Do you always stick to plan?

    MINDSET
Funny I was just referencing that book two days ago. I did a Meyers Briggs personality test and it turns out I'm a ENTP which naturally improvises everything and has a hard time sticking to plans and details... It describes me to a T. It's going to take practice for me to get better and my...

Do you always stick to plan?

    MINDSET
I don't. I might follow through most of the time but I never stick to plan 100%, and I just realized this today... I was in the gym doing deadlifts. After two sets I realized that I've done the stronglifts program before but never for more than a few days before altering the program. That's why...

The next time I log progress it will be in a new thread and about a new adventure. I created this progress thread near the beginning of the year and I want to clear...

Have you seen the people on the Wim Hof Facebook group that buy a chest freezer and fill it with water? That's always an option lol. I just saw a small chest freezer at costco for $150. I had this issue in Vietnam. The cold water only got down to luke warm. That was when my streak of cold...
