What is the BEST "value" you ever paid for?

    NOTABLE! HOT! CHAT EXECUTION
I just got myself the Bose headphones, they're amazing on international flights-- you don't realize just how loud airplanes and airports can be until you cocoon yourself under one of these headsets. And they don't hurt my ears like my old cheap headset I had before.

May I suggest meeting at one of the downtown hotels? We can lounge in the back with a great view of the marina outdoors, and easily move inside if the weather is uncooperative. Food options are also around. I personally hate the smell of cigar smoke, but would endure it just to hang out, but...

100 Unsexy Business Ideas: Name as many as you can!

    GOLD! IDEA
This. Most of the guys don't have a dedicated person to answer the phone, doing that alone would probabaly significantly boost sales. I remember one time I was getting voicemail after having called 6-7 guys. One of them actually called back and YELLED at me for NOT leaving a voicemail. How hard...

Throwing my backpack over the fence. My AMZ FBA/Private Label Progress Thread.

    EXECUTION
Yes, in this case, the quote was all-in. Besides the websites mentioned earlier, another rule of thumb to consider: a 40HQ container from China to the US port to port is around 1400/2200 (west/east coast), a few hundred less for 20FT. If you're being quoted close to those numbers for LCL, you...

    The little things are important!

Basic etiquette. Just last night, I was chatting with a China supplier when the sales person tried to Skype call me. It was 10:34pm. I rejected the call. Ok, honest mistake, no problem. Immediately after, it happens again. I make it clear that we will communicate via e-mail and Skype. Around...

Providing Value DOES NOT Equal Money

    HOT!
Selling Value (Convincing the customer to buy) Creating Value (Actually doing the work/providing the product) Capturing Value (Willingness and ability to pay on the client's part-- provide all the value in the world to broke people= no $$) All 3 are separate and required, IMO.

"What's the ONE Thing you can do such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary?" The focus question, taken from the book, "The One Thing". One foot in front of the other. Many great suggestions were offered here, it can easily get overwhelming to figure out what to do...

+1 As a vegetarian, so many events treat us as an afterthought-- anytime we can get something other than tasteless boiled vegetables or a few pieces of lettuce is a win in my book. Mexican is great option bc it covers both the carnivores and veggies (black beans/refried beans, guac etc) Same...
