    Introduction Post!

    STORY
All right, so here's my 3-month later update! This is a long one (and almost entirely for my own reference), but having the goal of posting it on here kept me motivated. The last three months have been a lot HARDER than I thought they would be. I quit my job. I did this for quite a few (good...

Thank you so much for this, MJ! I really appreciate it. I've made a note to follow up here in 3 months - I promise, I have no intention of leaving the building. (Or, at least, if I've left I'll be re-entering shortly!) It is hard. Still gonna do it.

I've Read The Great Rat-Race Escape!

    GOLD! HOT!
Absolutely brilliant book, MJ. Currently re-listening (once again), and can't wait to see how Jeff and Samantha figure things out (even though I know exactly how it ends!). Being obsessed with Iceland (one of my "goals" is to live there one day, because I'm from Canada and therefore do not...

Following you literally because your name is "The Sandman". I have a quote saved on my phone: "It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes. But the half-wit remains a half-wit, and the emperor remains an emperor." Absolutely love...

    Introduction Post!

    STORY
Hi! Not many people have their 100% favourite role model responding to them on the Internet. So - please take my response with a grain of salt given that. I see no issue with my book. It's fantasy (romantasy), and it's an LGBTQ+ re-iteration of the "Snow White" fairy tale (specifically "L"...

Work Life Balance - The mind of an unhappy slave

    GOLD! HOT! MINDSET
I've had two very "OMG... MJ was right" moments in the past three days. The first: My book club recommended the book "The Psychology of Money" by Morgan Housel. I read it. Not a horrible book. However. The charts. And I quote.... "If you started saving in 1900, in 2014 you would have...". And...

    I've Read The Millionaire Fastlane!

    GOLD! HOT!
Unsure how "posting" works (I've not had any form of social media account since 2012) but I'm posting to say that I've read "The Millionaire Fastlane". To expand: I've read this book a) with my book club (other individuals who also very much appreciated it); b) more than once (I'd say about ~x12...

Hi! My name is Susan Conquest (yes that is my real last name and yes it is awesome ) and I'm excited to join this Fastlane community. MJ's books are constantly playing on repeat on my Audible account; I hope to God at some point at least, like, 10% of the wisdom in them sinks into my brain and...
