Where to go in Asia for entrepreneurial immersion?

    MEETUPS
I would advise going there first before even thinking about spending there a few months. Bangkok is not for everyone. Specially when you just came from a nice beach in Phuket. :D

Money System - What Are You Investing That's Getting 5% Return?

    HOT! INVESTING
Upon further research, I don't think it's good to use leveraged ETF's for long positions because of volatility and compounding. Oil goes up 10%, ETF moves 30% up, your 100€ goes to 130€ . Oil goes back to where it was (-9.09%), ETF moves 27% down, your 130€ goes to 94.9€, yet Oil is at the same...

Trouble finding suppliers for luxury brand

High quality requires specialization, that's why you'll never find a factory that achieves quality doing multiple product types at once. That and the chance of a "supplier" being actually a middleman when they advertise multiple different product types being close to 100%.

My dad is an entrepreneur, but wants me to go slowlane

    MINDSET SLOWLANE
My dad also has his own business, for more than 20 years now. It's not scalable, he has an hard-time distancing himself (takes 1 or 2 weeks off every year only). It's a job, not a "fastlane business". He came to me and cried (never ever seen him cry, and we (family) have an hard time expressing...

Anyone else experiencing delays with FBA shipment centers?

    RANT
    1. List some low-cost manufactoring products at 500$ 2. Send a huge shipment to Amazon 3. Wait for them to loose it 4. Profit /joking, but I can't understand how a company that should have their shit together is loosing money on this.

Just Imported My First Sea Shipment: Here's what that process looks like

    GOLD!
Jealous of your freight costs to USA, and your local costs are really low, Lisbon airport / sea terminal is a rip off. I paid 300€ for local costs on a air freight shipment (excluding custom brooker fee). I got an air freight last year of around 1.60 cbm too. Did Shanghai-Lisbon but will start...

Money System - What Are You Investing That's Getting 5% Return?

    HOT! INVESTING
I was looking at this some days ago, I think Oil will still go down near 35$, depending on OPEC moves, I'm thinking of loading 5k€ into this if it reaches that point and letting it ride, the probabilty of getting Oil at 20-30$ is very very low, and I'd say it's logisticaly impossible to go <15$...

    HOT! INVESTING
@MTF Twino has better rates on 1 month loans and up to 14.9 on 24 months (all with buyback), which Mintos doesn't. So, depending on how what terms you want to invest, and what amounts, diversifying with Mintos may be a good option (doesn't make sence do diversify 1k€, but >10k€ is probably...

Money System - What Are You Investing That's Getting 5% Return?

    HOT! INVESTING
Like I have stated above, the major chunk of it is working capital for the business. But overall it's around 50%-60%. For larger sums (>50k€) I would probably try to find other P2P platforms in the USA or UK to minimize the risk of the eastern european economy (where most of these platforms are...

And can we trust a western forwarder not to mess up customs and bureaucratic stuff in China? AWB details, and transport when it requires pick up from the factory. As you know I import to Portugal, this year I will start importing through Amsterdam to avoid paying VAT upfront and I was thinking...
