The Worldwide C0VlD-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Discussion Thread...

    HOT!
At the museum where my wife works they have a top guy that is out of the country. He chose to go (work related and paid for by the museum). There is a lady that is going to New York in a few weeks to a large show there and it is her choice to go (paid for by the museum).... but, when they both...

I got written up today , but wish they had fired me.

Probably not a good thing for others to do but here was my question when any boss would say they were going to write me up..... When I get 5 write-ups do I get a raise? They would look at me like I was crazy and say NO! And I would say.... then what do I care? How does it affect me? Either fire...

    Commercial Cleaner Here

    INTRO
A cleaning business will grow anyway.... if the owner wants it to. Nothing holding back a cleaning business except the owner. I remember when I added carpet cleaning on to my house cleaning business, the entire carpet cleaning industry was stuck on.... January & February will be dead for you. No...

We have a friend that went to the Maastricht (basically an art fair) in the Netherlands. He isn't worried at all. After that he is headed to Italy to try and buy a painting. Hopefully he ends up ok but if not.... he knew what he was getting in to.

Have you ever used an online doctor consultation site?

I never see a doctor but my wife has seen one online. She has also had one that used to come to the house and she said the online was just as good as when the other lady would come to the house.

    Alarming inner quality

    MINDSET
I do this in my personal life but not in business. I'll wait until 45 minutes before I have to pickup my wife from the airport to clean the house. Or, our local grocery store closes at 1am so I'll wait until 12:45 to head out (It usually only takes me 5 minutes to get there and 5 minutes to...

Is it true that more money doesn't buy happiness once you've hit a threshold?

    MINDSET
It's the same with a business owner lots of times. The shine wears off and on to the next one.... that's me. I was thinking just yesterday what my next personal venture is going to be because it's coming within the next year or 2.

Is it true that more money doesn't buy happiness once you've hit a threshold?

    MINDSET
I'm asking this as a serious question.... does $75k buy much happiness nowadays? My wife paid $18 for a roast yesterday so I just don't see $75k going very far for the 'regular' person..... does it? $18 for a roast! I could have had hotdogs for 3 months with $18! We also went to the...

Gravy's Hustle Thread: $100k/mo or Bust!

    GOLD! HOT!
Yeah, yeah, yeah..... but what about the girlfriend where you was laying in her bed  Great job! I'm confident that before you know it, you will have grown the window cleaning business as large as you want it and be on to your next life! I kind of did the same thing in a way but I...

    Does anyone write business plans?

I don't think I could even write a 25 page business plan on any business I've ever owned! I tried writing a business plan once. I MIGHT have made it to 3/4 a page.... maybe. I don't need to write my numbers down. I know my numbers in my head for everything. I don't see how anyone does anything...

Going into business with my Dad

    PEOPLE
Here is the way I look at it. The odds are, it's going to end bad. You could get lucky and have it work great.... but the odds are not in your favor. You and only you will have to decide what risk you want to take when it comes to you and your dad. I am not looking at your situation from a money...

What Are Some Good and Legit Side-Hustles Out There Now?

    SIDE HUSTLE
I'm allergic to flowers, I stay up until 3am-6am, sometimes I sleep until noon (brunch is already over), I don't do Uber eats (money waster) but my mother in law makes me food sometimes, I mess around on the computer for a few hours and my goal (when working from home) it to get to work by 4pm...

Going into business with my Dad

    PEOPLE
Not only did I think it was a BAAAAAD idea when I read the title, I think it's a worse idea now that I read what you wrote. You AND your dad need to realize, this is business. I can see that you don't understand it is a business because you are looking at him as your dad and you don't want to...

    New tie down system

If its good, I know a few people who will buy one. If it's great and at a low enough cost, every race car/show car in this country has atleast 1 keeping it on/in the trailer and not rolling around. Most have 3-10 of them around the trailer.

    New tie down system

I'd be looking for something like this for just a regular tie down. When people move things in a trailer or in the back of their pickup they need a tie down. That's all I'd be interested in. You could make them in different strengths. Nowadays I just use bungie cords hooked to each other.
