Gravy's Hustle Thread: $100k/mo or Bust!

    GOLD! HOT!
Correct, I have a guy who helps me some days. And I should have clarified. Not just washing windows. Doing "full exterior house cleaning." So this means, $275 for rain gutter cleaning, $275 for windows, $275 for pressure washing, $125 for solar panels, all on the same house. What has...

Am I depressed, lost or just lazy?

    HOT! HEALTH
Off this very forum, in fact. But not just here, you have to meet up in person, offline. Post a meetup thread in your city and get a group going. Those people have friends too, tell them to invite anyone entrepreneurial. Network like crazy. Gary Vee had a post on his IG where he told people...

Gravy's Hustle Thread: $100k/mo or Bust!

    GOLD! HOT!
Started Tik Tok today. What a crazy platform. Makes me feel old af. Also sucks you in like no other. Puts IG and YT to shame in this regard. You could stay on there for hours and not even notice the time go by. Going to target hashtags and trending stuff here as well. Mixing educational...

do you think that people who spend too much time on TV can tell the difference between acting and real life?

    OFF-TOPIC
Someone told me about something called a "Parasocial" relationship the other day, where people enter into a relationship with a social media blogger, vlogger, personality, etc. This person speaks to them while locking eye contact, sometimes daily, for years. They feel like they know everything...

Aren't Website Templates (CMS, HTML/CSS) A Cheat Code to Process?

    EXECUTION
Is hiring an employee "cheating the process" as well? The "process" is different for every business and will continue to be different the more the landscape changes over time. A business from the 1900s had no website, template or custom. You have so many options these days. There's never...

In darkness. I lost my direction and clarity and I need your advice.

    MINDSET
You HAVE to get this out of your head. Shut off the YouTube. No more comparing yourself to others. You say you're behind where you were a few years ago, but you're really not. Just because you're not making as much money doesn't mean you've lost progress. Everything is not a linear growth...

How i cheated the system and got an apartment

I do this with customer service people as well. Had to call Yelp the other day since my ads for one of my business locations were stuck. They told me some BS about having to provide multiple pieces of paperwork, and they had to get reviewed. I ended up calling 3 more times, a total of 4...

I Make $15,000/month - 3 Hours of Work Per Day

    NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLE
The other thing about local biz is that you can execute in your city, and basically guide someone else in another city through the whole process, and when they also crush it, you're not hurting yourself at all. Literally multiplying value, not creating competition.

For anyone struggling with "What's the point" questions: At our house, we have an "authenticity board." We have each house mate's name written down on a big white board, and under it, anything they can think of that's authentic to them. What would you be doing with your time if money/time...

Are business/self-help books a waste of time?

    HOT!
How I see it: Action Taking Action Faking Mental Masturbation Entertainment Detriment In order of relevance to your goals. Reading books falls under "Mental Masturbation" category. It's still better than some things you could be doing, but nothing replaces action taking. A base level is...

    Feeling depressed.

    MINDSET
Don't compare yourself to anyone besides yourself. You're much smarter and have learned some great lessons in the past 3 years. Hind sight is always 20/20. You can't foresee everything.

If you had to eliminate ONE thing that currently brings you stress as an entrepreneur, what would that be?

    MINDSET
Comparing yourself to others, especially on YouTube/Social media. Makes you feel "behind" in life when in reality, that's not the case.

Who here has quit social media?

    HOT! MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
I installed Facebook Newsfeed Eradicator on my laptop for FB. This allows me to see none of the stuff I don't care about, but still allows me to access groups and ad accounts etc. I'm still addicted to IG. It's 100% pure garbage. In fact, I think I'm going to delete it today. There's just...

Gravy's Hustle Thread: $100k/mo or Bust!

    GOLD! HOT!
Just switched my background music as well as the intro, and format of the videos. MODS: Is it okay if I post links to two videos in here, so I can get some feedback on which one people think is better? Personally, I like the old style better... but the new intro is much shorter, so helps...

Went to a YouTube meetup last night. Met some dude with 510k subs. He gave me a ton of tips to think about. Having my assistant do lots more SEO work. We will follow a formula until something "trends." Then it should take a few "trending" videos in order to "blow up" meaning, once you get...

    Business Ethics Course

I'm curious to see how use of good ethics actually translates to higher ROI, and LTV for customers. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it does, but want to see other people's experiences. Not to affirm my own beliefs but just to get another perspective. Also cool to hear stories of people...
