Forum Self-Promotion Opp: Offers, Links, Your Biz, More (September 2019)

    SELF-PROMOTION
I could see these selling on Etsy for $20-100. No clue what price would work the best but I would just list them on etsy at random prices and see what happens. You don't have to apply any logic to the pricing, I would just put a group at whatever your low end would be and then every $5-10 up...

Where to Start with Instagram 2019

    MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
I don't use a free program. I use photoshop but I have heard good things about gimp which I think is free. Also someone on fiverr could probably do a handful of images for $5. This is a very simple skill for anyone remotely skilled with photoshop

I doubt she does it on her phone, I don’t know anyone who would do this type of editing on their phone. Is there a reason you need to do this on your phone vs a real editing program?

    FEEDBACK PLEASE!

I think this persons name is a fake, fake/stock picture and fake site. The footer tries to make it seem like a legit site since 2013 but I’d bet dollars to donuts it’s brand new. I’d also bet they don’t have a Star Wars license. Very spammy, nice lookin theme though

So far so good for me. I use trello to organize my daily tasks and have just made a point to make sure and put the top 2 tasks for the next day on my board before leaving work for the day. Today I had more on my to-do list than I anticipated and it took me much longer than expected. This meant...

The Etsy MEGA Thread... Best Practices, Use, Etc.

    HOT!
Quite a genius way to lower their customer acquisition cost. I am sure shareholders will be pleased. How long will etsy sellers allow this to happen? Based on how poor stats/analytics are on etsy there's no way they have the capabilities to run ads for everyone profitably. I would possibly...

So now for PPC you can no longer set your bid per click? Now you just set your daily budget and then etsy spends it how they see fit with CPC that they see fit? No thanks, I am good It was already bad enough that they wouldn't allow you to choose keywords... Now you can't choose keywords or the...

I don’t think there’s a market for this. Even if there was a market finding the people interested in a “culture learning experience” would be hard to impossible. If I had to market your idea I would market it to people from that country who now live in America. This would be a much easier...

    Thoughts on YouTuber MrBeast?

    OFF-TOPIC
This wouldn’t effect the dollar in anyway. It’s handfuls of companies spending their marketing budget. No it’s not socialism. This is advertising/awareness. Based on your observations/questions I would recommend more YouTube videos on economics and less mr beast

How could I quickly create a shopping cart that DOESN'T WORK to test a concept?

If you use Authorize.net as your payment processor you can leave it in test mode and it will act as if everything worked fine for the customer. They wouldn't be charged and you wouldn't get any money but they would see the thank you page after checking out like normal.

Anyone from Europe has good suggestions to ship to US?

    EXECUTION
We ship to Europe and Australia often. Our average order value is $120 and we often have customers paying $70-80 in shipping on top of that. Some think it's too expensive and others don't. Some people think our products are too expensive (at $120) and others don't. I don't know how much...
