It will more than likely be the same as last time. The only way that happens is if people sell. As I mentioned above; futures are not tied to Bitcoin, they are bought and settled in cash. The only way the price goes down if people see the buying of shorts, and panic sell based on the...

Congratulations to everyone who has invested in IOTA by the way, by owning 1, you're effectively a millionaire. :) Why? Because what you see selling on the exchanges as IOTA is in fact a MIOTA.

This! It looks a lot better. :-) There might still be room for improvement, but I wonder if you might be over-thinking it at this point. Get it out there and see how it goes.

Web 3.0 (Ethereum) is happening, and most people have no idea what it even is.

    GOLD! IDEA
That's not strictly true. From: What Is Bitcoin Fungibility? SegWit is activated, and Lightning could be coming. So it probably won't be a problem in the end.

Sorry to single out your post, but this "institutional money" argument is becoming a pet-peeve of mine. If you're referring to Bitcoin futures, there is no institutional money flowing into the market through them. Bitcoin futures are sold and settled entirely in good 'ole fashioned dollar$...

Wow, it really is spreading isn't it? I haven't been on the forum much all year because I've been doing, you guessed it, research into cryptocurrencies. I'm looking past Bitcoin (and also Ethereum to some extent), although I do love and respect it as the "genesis". Why? Because is showing...

Book Cover-- What do you think of it?

    HOT!
Here are some questions (they might sound mean, but they're not meant to be): How much time did you spend on that? Was it worth it? (I.E. Could you have spent some $ and focused on something else?) Do you think people will pay for something with a cover like that? How many sales will a poor...

Interesting, especially that last part. I've just been reading an article by someone who was skeptical of PoS, but now seems to be leaning towards it after seeing it work on smaller projects. Will see what happens there I guess! I'm also surprised no one's been in the thread to post about how...

A VERY interesting note I've just picked up on from a book I am reading is this: Think you've missed the boat? They've not even cast off yet. (It could also hit the wall on the way out the harbour yet too I guess :playful:).

It hasn't really been focused on investing in it, lots of people have mentioned blockchain technology and creating DAPPS. Great points. You can buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin as easy as you can buy a book from Amazon. Keeping it on the places where you can buy it that easily isn't very...

I've been posting a lot in the Ethereum thread... If you want to see some MLM insanity going on? Cryptocurrency is where it's at. 10 level deep referral programs on some of them, isn't that sweet? I just need to get Trump to sign up under me!

If I'm reading your post correctly which is a little hard (sorry I'm just saying), then it all depends on what you want to mine. If you're thinking about mining Ethereum, sure you can do it! But the difficulty increases constantly. Your hardware which you spend however much on buying + power...
