Neat idea! I've seen something similar to this being done before (pretty much what @Scot mentions above), but not a way of asking readers to do it.

I tend to do what Yoda does (although I've not provided anywhere near his level of value yet). It has created some interesting conversations via PM's I may not have otherwise had.

Cadillac Announces New Offer On Unlimited Vehicle Access for $1,500 a Month

I think it sounds great (not the cost), and you'll be seeing more and more thing like this in the future.

    Error on forum

    HOT!
I had this the other day when I was trying to send someone a PM. Notes about said PM (in case it helps): No pictures. No links. There were quotes. After it failed for about a fourth time (I'm stubborn) I split the message in two. The first part sent, then the whole site went missing with a...

    Sears & Macys closing stores....

    OFF-TOPIC
What was/is the experience of going to Sears or Macy's?

How many action fakes can the fastlane come up with??

You sound like me! I've found it helps to have those sites blocked with ColdTurkey (during times you want to be working, nothing wrong with some window shopping IMO). Here's a few I've done over the years, I've changed some items to make them more current: "I'll build that website when I can...

T Shirt Fulfillment Plugin + Shopify?

I would have agreed about a month ago. Will need to write a post about this to not sound like an a**hole though :).

T Shirt Fulfillment Plugin + Shopify?

Great! Somewhere else to lose control.

Ideas I've had that I haven't got time/resources/interest/knowledge to execute.

    IDEA
Idea 2 is kind of whacky (perhaps) but I'll put it out there anyway. The Barber Bot I don't know about you, but I hate barbershop visits and Conair's "even cut" is apparently crap (potential product there also). So, what about a robotic/automated machine that could give a barbershop quality...

Reminder 9-5'ers; we are NOT safe!

    HOT! MINDSET
Yes I did. Short summary would be that it is more of a mindset/attitude changing book than a roadmap book like TMF. But well worth reading.

T Shirt Fulfillment Plugin + Shopify?

I personally would get myself off Shopify and onto a WooCommerce site (self hosted, using wordpress). Why are so many people paying over the odds to join them? You're also losing even more control.

The other little quote worth dropping in this thread is; "Safe is Risky." Seth Godin.

Great post! Also, read "End of jobs" for more on the subject.

Ideas I've had that I haven't got time/resources/interest/knowledge to execute.

    IDEA
This sounds pretty interesting. Is it a sample box type thing, or more of a subscription box model? This is one big thing this thread has already delivered in terms of value back to me. You guys have convinced me I want nothing to do with a restaurant! I've read a couple books that mentioned...

Ideas I've had that I haven't got time/resources/interest/knowledge to execute.

    IDEA
Yes that's a great point! I think with that particular idea, the fact that at least 1 big player (already in that field) is/was working on it rules it out for me. It would probably be like trying to take on Apple and Google with a new smartphone. I haven't digged into that idea for a while...

Ideas I've had that I haven't got time/resources/interest/knowledge to execute.

    IDEA
Since we're on the subject, and to avoid anyone thinking this thread is trying to be something it's not, I'll try to quickly add something to @Vigilante's point with a little story from another idea I had: After attending an event that was far too loud for my eardrums, it dawned on me; "why...

Ideas I've had that I haven't got time/resources/interest/knowledge to execute.

    IDEA
Agree wholeheartedly with this. This isn't meant to be a "look at the ideas I've got" kinda thread, Just a bit of a brain dump. Hopefully someone will find some value in it. I'm sure it will fall off page 1 quickly if they don't :).

I think I've heard of using some drones for crop dusting/pest control, but not monitoring. That could be very interesting.

Ideas I've had that I haven't got time/resources/interest/knowledge to execute.

    IDEA
Thanks for posting more details on where this idea would fit in. I know little about the restaurant game, so this is one of those ideas where I'd say I personally wouldn't have the knowledge. Seems this is something that is quite popular, but doesn't exist where I am, so perhaps there is a...
