Thinking about going Vegan for moral issues...

    HEALTH
I can totally understand why people see going vegan as a solution to ending animal cruelty. In fact, I think factory farming is really effed up and I don't like it at all. We should treat animals, especially those that give us sustenance, with respect, because at the end of the day they give...

Quitting and going back to university??

    MINDSET
As MJ has said before: "Fastlane is a mindset" If you want to go back to school and get a job in a different field, no one will discourage you here. As long as you're getting fulfillment from what you do, and you feel you have the freedom you need in your life, that's what matters. You don't...

[Car enthusiasts] What is your car, what are the mods you've done to it ?

    OFF-TOPIC
Yeah it would suck to have the government take it and crush a perfectly good car. There was actually a loop hole here in the US that let a few R34 GTRs in legally. Theres a handful in America that are legal cars.

[Car enthusiasts] What is your car, what are the mods you've done to it ?

    OFF-TOPIC
Man I wish we got these in America. Same thing with the R34. I'm sure there are some s15 silvias here on special conditions, like the R34, but seeing either of these in America in the wild is akin to seeing a unicorn

[Car enthusiasts] What is your car, what are the mods you've done to it ?

    OFF-TOPIC
Well I just sold my 2015 charger R/T over the summer! It was a fun car and loud, it was straight piped from the cats back. I miss it, but i sold it and bought a little 8 year old toyota because I was tired of giving away over $1,000/mo just to drive the thing. $400/payment, $4-500 for gas...

Student Loan Debt is Out Of Control

    OFF-TOPIC
I really think this is well intentioned, but it reminds me of the D.A.R.E program in schools. It was well intentioned, and the goal was getting kids to not try drugs. They tried to logically sell kids on why they shouldn't be doing drugs. Well guess what, the decision to do drugs isn't logical...

Student Loan Debt is Out Of Control

    OFF-TOPIC
I agree with you that we here don't have much influence over a 1.4 trillion dollar problem. Its not like one person can solve this. I think the solution to the problem is prevention. As far as what to do after you've accumulated the debt? What else is there to do besides pay it back? Yes we...

I agree with you that trade school is good for someone who wants to get into a trade. Not everyone will want to though.

Student Loan Debt is Out Of Control

    OFF-TOPIC
After coming across an article the other day talking about 30 distraught college grads (sorry don't have the link), who have tens and even hundreds of thousands worth of student loans, it brought the reoccurring thought back to my head: Why the hell do we let kids borrow 10's and 100's of...

Deep Depression being stuck at a 9-5 job

    HEALTH
That's a good point too, A job will teach you how to handle money. Think about it, if you can't live off of $2,000 a month and you blow everything at the bar, or even worse buy things on credit cards and accumulate a balance, Then how can you expect to live off of $20,000 a month? You'll more...

Why is there not more healthy fast food chains?

    HOT!
This is total opinion, but I think its for 2 reasons. 1 It doesn't taste as good, and 2. The amount of people who eat healthy and consciously try and be healthy is a small (But growing) subset of the population. Even a lot of the "healthy" options at restaurants (wraps, salads) can have a high...

How soon should I start seeing results from FB ads?

    MARKETING
If you've spent $4000 you've probably had a lot of website visits, is that true? If you do have a lot of website visits, then start a retargeting audience of people who have visited your store and remarket to them. Another major thing is most people don't impulse buy things on Facebook...

    Formal Education is Overrated!(or not?)

    MINDSET RANT
I think it's overrated when you don't know what you want to do, Which as a 17-18 year old kid, I don't know how anyone expects you to know what you want to do for the rest of your life. So you end up going to a 4 year school for 5-6 years at $10-20k a semester, finance it and end up with $100k+...

    Is CENTS Destructive to Action?

    GOLD! MINDSET
I'm glad you posted this clarification, because after I read Unscripted I thought that I had to have the perfect CENTS business, Or else the business wizard would come out from the sky and come beat me with a hockey stick. It could have been clarified in the book, but how I interpreted it was...

I remember a few years ago, It was the summer before my senior year of high school. I used to skateboard every single day especially during the summer. The summer was coming to an end, and it was almost time for school to start back up. Since this was my final year of school, I was thinking...

To sell or not to sell the dream car ??

    HOT!
As a car guy my self, I would tell you don't sell it. Yes it is just a car, But it has a special meaning to you. If you owed money on it, or you were in dire financial need I would tell you to get rid of it because car debt sucks. But as something special to you that costs you a few hundred...
