How else would you advise checking for competition? From what I have gathered I haven't seen anything out there like it. Market size is everyone. Everyone has one.

    Product Development

Thanks Lamboman. I did a search for idea development and didn't find anything. As for competition, from the research I have done (google) there is not anything out there like it. There is no competition. Similar to the snuggie, no competition.

    Product Development

HOLA! I came across an idea today that I wrote down and feel really good about it. Question is, once you have the product in your head, what are the steps to take to get it going? I know there's design, need to speak with a patent attorney, and product launch. Is there an order which to go by...

    I'm making no progress

    WEB/DIGITAL
Not to steal your thread, but I am in the same position as you. MJ and another recommend dreamweaver, is this the way you guys recommend as far as getting the experience in creating websites?? I have no problem learning the material, but the time required is questionable, which is why I and the...

    Do we ever really fail?

Great thread! I feel everyone that has chimed in makes a valid point. Failure in my opinion is a misconception. The word itself seems to strike fear into some people. Its more mental then anything as others have stated. If the approach to a situation is I welcome failure and success, then...

Props Ryan for coming down to that realization. Owning nice things will only go so far, but leaving the world with your imprint, will last forever.

    EXECUTION
Impressive. Love the website design and setup, I also signed up. Brilliant idea. I have noticed as I look to solve problems through the day that the simplest things seem to have the biggest impact. Very simple ideas, that just explode, and are found through solving problems. Thanks for the...

Are You Driving a Fastlane ... or Riding It?

    GOLD! MINDSET
Awesome post MJ. My original plan was to do both web site development and real estate but after reading your post I completely understand. 110% dedication in one area will lead to fast development and therefore the fastlane much quicker compared to pursuing two investment vehicles that will...

After you're a millionaire, will you go broke?

    NOTABLE! FTE
No, I will not go broke. I grew up with money and without money. My father likes to please others and in so doing spent way more then he was taking in. I have been there and seen what it is like when money is of no object. I have also been fortunate enough to recieve some capital from a...

    Godaddy.com advice

    WEB/DIGITAL
Im in the process of getting my domain name set up and as I went through Godaddy's website they offer multiple setups such as a site builder, ssl certificates, alternate e-mails and so forth. Is there anyone here who has used them? and anything that you recommend to purchase from them while...

    Beer & Pancakes 2010 info

    HOT!
Thank you for responding. I thought the info needed to make arrangements would have already been provided seeing as the earlier you book a flight and hotel the more one would save. What is your approach in this matter? Make flight arrangements then hotel arrangements down the road?

Are you putting the Puzzle together?

    OFF-TOPIC
Just to clarify, i wasn't saying you didn't but merely giving my two cents. But in that aspect I do have a question for you. Have you done the college deal?? I ask because as most of us know, college is not the fastlane and after reading MJ's story college seemed to be a waste of time for him...

Project LiftUp: Cleaning Up Fitness Industry

    HOT!
based on your idea, I assume this site will have anabolic information correct?? Such as what is required to make it to pro status? I despise those that tell others just eat or workout hard when they are not telling the whole truth. I know plenty in that field and it is a different world.

Are you putting the Puzzle together?

    OFF-TOPIC
Interesting way to put it. I have been down the read, read, and read again path. I think its personal preference, but I learn best by doing rather then just reading. I typically read a book or two on the subject that I am pursuing along with some other research and then act on that information...
